Lolo's Rare TV Show Appearance '!
Karisma Kapoor
She left a million hearts aflutter when she bid goodbye to tinsel town and got hitched ' but now that actor Karisma Kapoor's daughter is older and more independent, mommy Lolo decided it was time to do a few brand endorsements, make select TV appearances and even do a plum movie role if one comes by. But her appearances on TV have been so exclusive that when it was announced that she would appear as a special guest at the final auditions of Zee TV's top-rated dance reality show for kids, DID L'il Masters, the contestants of the show and their parents went into a frenzy at the prospect of seeing the gorgeous actress.
While on the show, Karisma was received extremely warmly by the judges. While Geeta Kapur told Karisma that she hadn't changed one bit and that she should never have left films, Master Marzi was seen bonding with the actress over the good old times they'd had on the sets of Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Apparently, Marzi and Karisma go back a long way as Marzi had an instrumental role in the choreography of 'Le Gayi Le Gayi' ' a chartbuster that had become quite a rage with Lolo fans!
Speaking of the show, Karisma said, "To have my first appearance on a reality show, DID L'il Masters, that is No 1 across channels in India is an absolute pleasure. I'm extremely happy for Zee TV that this adorable show featuring some of the cutest and the most exceptionally talented child dancers from the country has opened to such phenomenal ratings. Having experienced the magic of these kids first-hand, I urge everybody to tune into this show ' I think it's just world-class! You'll be blown away by these l'il powerhouses of talent with an innocence that will surely have you wanting for more!"
When Karisma went up on stage and shook a leg to her famous 'Sona Kitna Sona Hai', people fondly remembered her hit pairing with Chi Chi and begged for an encore. Another highlight of the evening was when Lolo had tears in her eyes after watching a heart-wrenching performance by young Tanay who expressed the burning desire of an injured dancer for the 'Golden Superwings' of DID L'il Masters.
Stay tuned to the final auditions of 'Knorr Soupy Noodles DID L'il Masters powered by Lotus Refineries' on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 at 9 PM, only on Zee TV.
