Tollywood's latest find? Nanditha, who won hearts with her performance in "Neeku Naaku" is yet to get used to her new found stardom. The newcomer has earned much appreciation for her performance.
Nanditha, who got selected for the movie out of 70,000 applications, says, "When I got selected for the screen test, I was worried because I knew that it's not all that easy to get picked for a movie." The Mumbai-born actress who has lived in Hyderabad all her life says, "I loved movies right from my childhood. I used to participate in a lot of stage shows in my school days. I was part of the May Queen contest organized by a popular local club and I won the title."
Nanditha, who is pursuing her undergraduate degree has became a celebrity of sorts on campus. "My friends were in fact, surprised to see me on the big screen as they almost couldn't recognize me. Even I was taken aback to see myself in the film. My first reaction was 'Is that me?'," says Nanditha, who was only too happy to have a supportive director like Teja.
"When you are working with a director like Teja, you don't even need to join any film school. It was a great learning experience as Teja conducted a 15-day workshop for us before the shooting began. I am lucky to be a part of the "Neeku Naaku" team," she adds. Nanditha reveals that she is now getting many movie offers. "But I am cautious now. I'm looking forward to playing interesting characters," she signs off.
