Now to the gist of it all I don't think Babloo is a hypocrite. All the characters seem to be unfolding like a fairly decent mystery novel. There were hints at a fundamental flaw in his character the whole time. If he is that angry at his father, thinks he's such a bad person, and sets a bad example for Sonu why is he still there? Why does he support Pinto moving out but can't make the decision to move out himself? I get that he thinks he's supporting his mother but doesn't she support his dad blindly?
The fact that he's a teacher is very telling... "Those that can do, those that can't teach " seems very fitting for him. He knows the rules but doesn't know how to apply them.
Well, he is feeling all spiteful towards Krishna just because he feels she slighted him before Pinto by releasing Ganga at his brother's behest and not his. In the process he has become hypocritical to his brother Pinto and us viewers.
Hypocrisy is trait of character weakness. You feel something and yet you act otherwise..When the going was good, he was able to acknowledge to his brother that he could not leave the house like him. I doubt in present condition he would have acked that. He would have rather presented his sticking to parent's house as an exalted decision of his.
The AB drama is pretty okay with these kind of real-life nut-cases, only bad thing is the pacing of the story. Everything is rushed and seems like artificial insertion rather than natural growth. But these sudden changes are pretty possible.
A mother can become possessive and lose mind when she sees another woman coming close to her son, especially a woman who is disapproved by her husband and which means there's gonna a rift between son and father. Ganga is the last woman who wants this to happen. She can swallow all her self esteem, pride and intelligence just to keep the house together. Her problem is she cannot go against her husband. So she is just aping her husband and trying to exercise her power over her son. In the process she looks devilish, but thing is what she doesn't see is after this there is an abyss for her. She is going to lose. She can only shout this much...but her comfort will be..she tried her best.
