The suicide track is really an abomination on Khushi's character slate - the resigned, defeatist attitude to death at ASR's hand making a mockery of how she showed ASR his place and proved her worth after GH. Similarly a mockery of the girl who comically enacted the classic suicide scene from Sholay to make her Jiji smile. Oh what they've done to her for a few comedy scenes.

This is the problem with the writers we have, in their attempts to convey intensity of comedy - they compromise ASR and KKG. As a result one of them becomes extremely cruel and questionable whilst the other is reduce to being fickle lacking depth.

Hopefully this is the last blow!

Great post. Agree with you completely! It all started right after Lavanya's exit...this constantly comical Khushi. Don't know the reason, but I really miss the old Khushi. The comedy dilutes her character. Earlier her comedy was used here and there... and strategically placed... loved the hot tea comedy. Though I felt they went overboard with her annoying antics during the Nainital trip, it ruined the romance for me, but I forgave the CVs for that due to the awesome after effects of that trip. But since La's exit... this new Khushi... is just weird man!! Why such excessive comedy for her?? She is the lead for god's sake. They don't realize that by making Khushi's character like this... they have made it almost impossible for anyone in the audience to RELATE to her. If we cannot relate to the female character on any level, then it becomes really difficult to like her or sympathize with her. Since majority of the audience is female, I don't understand why the CVs did this.

Ya i agree comedy is fine for a day, i laugh end of day but every time its really sad. Thats y kushi is not getting any recognition for her talents coz they simply make fun with her... one time its very gud, twice its gud, thrice its fine but not every time.
