Khushi turned around. "Why did it hurt your muscularity? Satisfied now?"

" No I'm not. You didn't answer me. Will you still say that my touch disgusts you"

"Well you yourself know that you are very attractive Arnav and also the first man to touch me. Why stress that fact. You might have been my first but you are not the only one." Khushi lied through her teeth. Telling him that he was not the only one soothed her jagged nerves.

"You've proved your point. I find you attractive. Now happy?"

Arnav swallowed. Khushi had just hit a raw nerve. He turned around and left the room before Khushi saw his misty eyes.

It had taken Arnav only ten days to do a through investigation and find out the truth... the truth that he should have found out a long time ago... and instead he had punished an innocent girl... the love of his life... the only girl he ever loved... Arnav couldn't bear the guilt, the anguish... the pain was too much... he wanted to kill himself but put on a normal exterior just for his Di... he couldn't let her suffer anymore than she had already suffered... Arnav searched for Khushi everywhere... but it was as if she had disappeared from earth... then he hired the best detective in India to find her... it took exactly three months to locate her... the report shattered an already shattered Arnav...

This time Arnav didn't take anyone's word for it... he went there to see for himself... it felt as if someone had repeatedly stabbed a knife in his heart... twisting the knife... his bleeding heart looked at the scene before him... Khushi, clearly pregnant, holding the hand of her husband in a park... smiling, glowing, playfully teasing him... there was no trace of unhappiness in her face... how could she do this to him...according to the report she probably got married only 1 month after leaving him... one month... that proved how little Khushi had ever felt for him... for her it had been only physical.

Arnav didn't even once think that it was his distrust that took his Khushi away from him... to soothe his broken heart he put the entire blame on her... yes Arnav wasn't rational any longer...

To love someone and not be loved back hurt... hurt a lot...

Not shockingly Arnav had still kept reports of her whereabouts all throughout these one and half years...

Khushi tried to sleep the whole night but couldn't... she tried to hate him... but she couldn't... No!! no matter what she wouldn't give in to him this time... only one week two days left Khushi... it will soon pass and if not she'll run away again before that... yes she was done pretending to be brave... all she wanted to do now is avoid that man...

It had been only four days since Khushi had stepped into the house but already she had lost some color, her eyes were looking puffy. It was taking a toll at her with arnav always staying so close to her, sometimes hot and sometimes totally cold.

Aniket had left for AR in the morning. That was shocking because he was supposed to take her with him. Khushi asked Aakash to give her a lift but he was going somewhere else. Khushi didn't see the echange of looks between Aakash and Anjali.

"Oh khushi you are ready. Lets go" - Arnav said

"huh, with you??"

"well Aniket had to leave for AR in the morning. I told him I'll give you a lift to the office"

"uski koi zarurat nahi hain"

"don't create a scene, just go and sit in the car" Arnav hissed...

Knowing fighting with him is futile Khushi went and sat inside the car. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't notice when Arnav stopped the car at a unknown place

"We need to talk"

"there is nothing to talk about. Just forget the past alright"

"I had forgotten all about it but you had to come back.How can I forget anything with you 24/7 in front of me?"

"when i left you Arnav a little part of me had died. You had crumpled my innocence, killed my happiness. It felt hard even to breathe. Now I've a job, a life, I've made something out of myself. Please don't take me back there Arnav.I'm not going to jeopardise my happiness by getting tangled with you again. You wanted to hurt me. Well I've been hurt in ways you can't even imagine. Meine tumhe chod diye isle mujhe meri aukad dikhana chahteho na tum. You always loved seeing me in pain didn't you"

"Well it sure as hell didn't take you a very long time to get over your misery..only one month to marry again"

Khushi's eyes became wide.

"how do you know? Things are not always what they look like. You should know that better than me"

Khushi thought it better to let him think she was married. He deserved the pain plus he might just leave her alone.

"Did he touch you"

"yes we were married. Ofcourse he touched me"

Arnav just banged his hand to the side window cutting his hand in the process. Khushi screamed seeing blood oozing out of it. She tried to hold his hand but he didn't let her.

"Arnav I'm tired of repeating the same thing again and again. Let the past rest. Let it die. I'm not responsible for the crime you believe me to have done. I did not have anything to do with shyam. I would never do anything like that to Anjali di. I know you don't believe me but if you do want to bring the past back again and again then I think it is best for me to leave."

"All you can do is run away. The last time also you ran away. "

"so what should I've done. I haven't forgotten my last week with you arnav"

"You should have explained"

"you didn't give me a chance to explain"

"then explain... explain now... why did you get married... why khushi??"

I know this chap sucked big time... but not all chapters are alike right😭... I'll try to come up with a better update next time... hopefully more spicy😃...

I just want him to somehow find out that bby was his... n she never even gt married, let alone slept wid someone else.. he realllyy needs to know.. or he will end up hurtin himself more :(
