I too have a sinking feeling that Barun may quit in the next few months...since someone mentioned that TV actors usually have 1 yr contract which is renewed at the end of that period...which means Barun's may be coming up for renewal soon considering IPKKND started last June.
According to SBS he's a lead in a movie(if I'm not mistaken) and due to start shooting for the same soon,and if really plans to quit IPKKND in the near future then the CVs will be rushing with the MU clearance track,following guilt track and finally the consummation track...since without Barun these tracks will fall flat on their face and be a BIG dip in TRPs for the PH.
If we do see the story rushing through the above upcoming plots in the next few weeks it would have to be for a major reason such as Barun quitting...I sincerely hope that it never happens cause the sole reason why I'm glued to IPKKND is Barun and without him the show might as well come to a logical ending.
