Actually everyone in the Badi Haveli is so impulsive in their decisions, except Bhairon and Anandi - the only ones who think about the long term consequences before making any decision.
I just wanted to slap Dadisa (I'm sorry) when she said Humne ladka dekh to liya, Anandi dekhke kya kar levegi? (We've seen the groom, what's the point of Anandi seeing him?). And then I hated how she just wanted to do the shagan etc. on the spot. What if Anandi had plainly refused to marry when she'd have got to know? Wouldn't she be forced to accept the groom just for the sake of stupid Dadisa's izzat and laaj?
And then when Bhairon said, "Let J-G fight for their share in my property...what can they do?" I'm sure if he had consulted the lawyers before giving in to the dokri's high pitched screams "de de hissa..." he and Anandi could have sued J for bigamy, demanding (and not asking for) divorce.
