i have been noticing that for a while now...

it was really apparent in todays episode.

if u get over that filler an comedy aspects some lines in the episode reinforced to me that khushi has kind of a low self esteem abt her

1. the guy on tv said are u homely(low class) and poor and she nodded her head without hesitation. this is one thing she fights with arnav on but i guess she also believes it herself.

2. she doesn't believe a rich guy like arnav could love her. even payal didnt think that abt akash. she was worried abt the family aspect not the love itself.

3. in her mind she believes la is a better fit for asr. thus arnav still loving her instead of her.

4. in the past episodes right before the marriage khushi fed the smallest dry piece of roti to payal as a representation of her. while the other family members were represented with better food and bigger portion

5. she walks behind her family and is always carrying everything like a porter.

6. she does not feel secure abt love she receives for her family or anyone for that matter. she constantly seeks assurance that they love her by doing everything for them...

man it made me think she does not think much of her self. which kind of fits if arnav and khushi are opposites than the fact that arnav is so self confident khushi being his opposite would be insecure

Wow. Good observation! ESP the roti bit. I think she does all she can (porter)cos perhaps she feels that she has to do more to show her appreciation of her adopted family. So sad

well regarding self esteem, I must say u are wrong...if one is poor is it wrong to admit that! She just admitted wat the reporter was asking !

Next thing believing on a rich guy thing...ok she believed and still believes that somewhere Arnav still holds a place for her in his heart...but how she will convince herself! One day Arnav is calm, behaves like a caring husband and the very next day he becomes rude! You tell, how she will believe in his love!

Well walking behind the family as a porter! Common dear she is the youngest one...n youngest ones I think take pleasure in doing so!

Well my grand dad is the trusty of the school wherre I used to read...but whenever we go any whre I just loved to carry every thing, though some times the luggages are very huge! Still I feel pleasure in doing dat! I dont think its a matter of low self esteem!

I soo agree with u hun👍🏼 Khushi just puts up this front of comedy to keep every1 happy because she thinks if she does that then they will continue to love her.She doesn't share her secret about the marriage with any of the gupta's why? because she doesn't want to be a burden on them and when do people feel they r a burden on some1,when they don't truly feel that they r apart of a family or that group of people etc. In a way if u look closely u can see the basic core of both Arnav/Khushi is exactly the same they may be different in many ways on the outer surface but inside they r not that different from eachother.

Also lets not forget the fact that she lost her parents when she was young, yeah i know arnav lost them to but the difference here is that Arnav had a big sis with him and other close family members but khushi had no siblings around her and on top she only had a masi, just imagine yourself in her position, living in someone's else house worrying if u should do this or do that basically u don't be free 2 do the things u would have done if it was your own parents house. I know the gupta's give her lots of love but it's not the same as your own parents luv and also in this day and age u can't trust anyone, so i understand khushi and what she might be going through. From what i know about people who have low self esteem is that no matter how much u love them they will always question your love 4 them because they can't actually believe that some1 might truly luv them for who they r, they think that the person that claims to luv them, might have an ulterior motive in mind.Hence why i think Khushi is the way she is with Arnav, Have u noticed it's mainly always her who breaks away from the rabba ve's first.
