Alarms were going off in his mind. Something was not right. He could sense it from every direction. Manyata was in trouble. He went up the stairs to search for either Jai Nandini or Manyata. He preferred Manyata but at least if Jai Nandini was in sight he could keep an eye out. Jai Nandini was swiftly leaving a room when they almost collided.

She smirked at him.

"It looks like I will be the heir soon Yuvraj Udayveer Singh. That means I'll be your wife soon," she declared.

He glared at her coldly. If could not marry Manyata, there was no way she could be her replacement in his heart and life.

"What did you do?," he exclaimed.

She rolled her eyes and walked away. He brushed past the servants at the door and entered the room. He stopped short to see Manyata on the ground unconscious. He quickly knelt down beside her. He found an apple under her long dupatta. He quickly helped her sit up and lean against the nearby chair. He dialed his head of security and called for a doctor to be arranged.

" Not a word to anyone until it's confirmed. Yuvrani Manyata may have been poisoned," he stated.

He hung up and shook Manyata gently.

"Please Manyata be alive," he whispered.

She must have heard him and opened an eye.

He sighed with relief and shook his head when she broke into a grin.

She took out the small bits of the apple she had spit out when Jai Nandini had left the room.

" Usko lagta hai ki main mar juki. Let her rejoice for sometime,"Manyata declared with glee.

He caressed her cheek.

"You really scared me Manyata," he declared.

"I am sorry Udayveer. However I had to catch the culprit behind all this. I had a feeling she was the mastermind but I couldn't just accuse my own sister," she stammered.

He covered her hand with his.

"I know this must be very difficult for you princess but I must say nice move," he said.

She squeezed his hand.

"Chalo , I should lay down on the bed. We need to continue this drama a bit longer," she stated.

She tried to get up but felt weak.

He grabbed her in time.

"Kya hua Manyata?"

" I am fasting and perhaps some of the poision entered my system," she muttered.

" The doctor is on the way. I told my head of security to keep it quiet. From now on someone who is on your side will always be with you," he assured her.

He helped her lie down in the bed.

Udayveer paced around, knowing the crowning ceremony was to start anytime now and everyone would wonder about where she was.

The doctor arrived and bagged the apple for testing. A local antidote for the poision was given to Manyata. She would be weak for a few days but she would make a full recovery.

" Udayveer we have to go to the ceremony now," she exclaimed.

He nodded.

"Hum leker jayenge aap ko princess," he promised her.

He offered her his arm and they began walking towards the staircase.

Everyone was just about to get frantic when the crowd dispersed. Jai Nandni was about to reveal that Manyata would not be coming to the venue. She stopped short seeing Udayveer escorting Manyata towards the stage.

Her jaw dropped nearly to the ground. Everyone else was relieved. Dadisaab was relieved to see her but sensed something was amiss due to her granddaughter's expressions.

It was difficult for Manyata to hide her weakness but Udayveer's hold on her hand made her feel stronger. He was her greatest strength.

Vijay Bhai nudged Jai Nandini. He had gotten the text from Udayveer earlier. Unnati looked towards Manyata with concern but was filled at pride at how Udayveer was supporting her.

It all seemed to go in a blur. She did smile as Dadisaab placed the crown on her head. Sometime later she got up to greet the crowd. However within a few moments she was falling. She fell against a strong firm torso. She wearily looked up into those warm brown pools before she went into darkness.

The truth came to light. Dadisaab grabbed Jai Nandini and slapped her.

Komal went to Daima and scorned her.

"I thought you were a royal servant of this household. But today you have proven you are nothing but a lesser being. God never gave your true happiness because you have plotted to kill a child of another woman," Komal declared.

She had had the guards throw her out.

Brijraj turned to the so called bodyguard.

"You did the opposite of a loyal servant. You were foolish to go along with a plan with my younger daughter but you were insane when you nearly killed my older daughter. You will never be free in your life again!,"Briraj declared.

The couple turned to Jai Nandini.

" You have hurt us a lot today Jai. You never thought of your family's reputation or any humanity before attempting to kill your own sister. I will never forgive you!," Komal cried.

"I never expected this from you Jai Nandini. Today I am glad Manyata returned to us. She is the only one to bring us any happiness,"Brijraj declared.

Jai Nandini cried and ran away into her room. Dadisaab ordered for her door to be locked for the next few hours.

Manayata gained consciousness. Her parents hugged her and Brijraj asked for forgiveness.

"Please everyone relax. I will be fine soon," she assured them.

Dadisaab approached her and said," Despite being away from us for so many years you have turned out better than the other children of this house. God bless you beta!"

Manyata smiled.

Vijay Bhai, Unnati and Udayveer sat with her and they all played games. Menakshi and other young royals joined them and tried to keep Manyata busy since she was ordered bedrest for the day.

Manyata was pleased that Udayveer paid attention to her and not to other rajkumaris present there.

Everyone slowly left to retire for the night.

Manyata had not eaten much so Udayveer had food brought up and he helped her sit up. Vijay Bhai and Unnati joined them and all took turns to feed Manyata and joke around with her.

Udayveer promised to be in the next room in case she needed anything. Unnati slept in the room with her to keep an eye on her. Udayveer told them to keep their phones next to them and he would come see them in the morning.

" Don't worry Dada. I'll be here with Manyata," Unnati assured him.
