It is the TV Version of Hit Jay Hind Show on Internet started in 2009
"JayHind!" is India's first late night stand-up comedy show on the Internet.
It is India's only full-format late-night comedy show online. Two new episodes uploaded every week
Jay Hind show has already completed more than 250 episodes.
More than 250 episodes later, JayHind! spawned a television version aptly called the Late Night Show [ which may also mark a world first of TV adapting a full format from the Internet ] on Colors network
The format is relatively similar to the online version, right down to the live band, scriptwriters, and liberal use of green screen.
Along with this, Jay Hind also has an English-language international version called Better Late Than Never, an awards show for the "worst of the worst" of the year ' like a Razzies but for real people ' and a regular stint at The Comedy Store, Mumbai.
So The Late Night Show is a stand up show that has a humorous take on world related news. The anchor, Sumeet Raghavan, makes witty remarks on celebrities, politicians and cricketers.
The Late Night Show- Jitna Rangeen Utna Sangeen, the new stand-up on COLORS, is uniquely scripted, uncensored and has an unabashed humorous take on happenings of all kinds, across the board. Contemporary and edgy, the show relies on satire of NEWS (including everyone and everything in its comic observations and barbs...from politics and politicians...to cricketers and bookies...gangsters and cops...scientists and crazy new inventions...weird research and world news...world leaders and world beaters...) for the stand-up routine and the Gags...and focuses on really entertaining and funny conversations for the Interview segment which features a host of fake celebs, especially political personalities."
Last week Imarti Devi of Colors show- Kairee Rishta Khatta Meetha had came as guest.
And before that lead pairs of movies also came to promote their movies, viz of Bittoo Boss, Vicky Donor, Hate Story & Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi.
