Yes, Jai has my sympathy. I always felt for her character and I find her to be a grey character just like Manyata and Udayveer. All three have their "shades", clearly from what I perceive in the episodes is that no one is perfect . I am going to copy and paste parts of what I typed about Jai from another post (http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=2945789) made a few days ago here since it is relevant with my reasoning:

Jai, Jai...Jai. She is quite different. I like her. And she has been through a lot. She has always been living in the shadow of missing Manyata, and then the founded Manyata. There was never stability in her life. Jai, you will marry Uday. Jai you will be the new Yuvraani. Jai rokha is called off, since your long lost sister is found but stay standing all dolled up it is okay. Jai, Manyata is not ready for the throne I will crown you Queen. No Jai, Manyata is capable of being Queen, now fight for the throne. Obviously, the poor girl is going to have insecurities, hurt and an emotional break down. Jai is also the daughter and should be given equal love and attention. Maybe that way she would not have been so bitter about Manyata and her being Yuvrani. Jai had feelings for Uday since childhood. One day Uday asks her, Marry me then on Rokha leaves in search for Manayta. He ignores her. One day he has sudden love for Jai and kisses her. The next day no one cares, no one knows. (Fine, Jai should know that Manyata and Uday's relationship was decided for since childhood but you cannot blame the girl her sister was missing for 16 years, those were 16 years of hope) I want Manyata, as the elder sister to reach out to Jai. I want them both to develop a genuine bond, and to stop calling her Jaigamandini. Jai grew up in a luxurious and pampered lifestyle and thats how she coped with things. Both Jai and Manyata have said and done hurtful things, but everyone makes mistakes. When you learn from the mistake, then that is what makes it a fruitful lesson of life. Today Manyata, showed her "Monia side" and yelled and left Jai. I was like why did you even bother "reaching out". Was that all an act? How can you change in seconds. You said you were empathizing for her, so that means you understand that is Jai upset and will say things to express her emotions that you or anyone else may not like.

Jai is hurt. And is not thinking clearly. She loves her self-respect and image. Afterwards, she will feel awful. I am hurt for Jai. I am hurt for Manyata. I just do not know what to expect tomorrow. This is drama, drama! I hope Manyata does not go into Monia mode and throw a hissy fit and throw the house upside down. We need to handle Jai first! I was thinking, Jai should just go away. She needs to just give time to herself to rejuvenate, maybe get some counselling I do not know just anything to be fresh and then return as a new person. I hope Jai finds her Prince Charming. And just like how Manyata has been through so much trauma and change, so has Jai.

To sum it up. Jai is hurt and this girl is going to express it in any which way she can. Udayveer is being very nasty. I did not like how he physically lured her so he can get rid of the evidence. Raj Matha had her hands on the chip. Just did not sit well with me. Why can't Jai and Uday be friends again. They always had good hearted play and tease. I understand they are not meant to be with each other, but he can respect the girls feelings! She had a friend-- Vijay Bhai but her actions resulted in a soured relationship. I hope Vijay helps Jai help herself. Just like how he saw the truth, so can Jai.
