...And She's Gone </3
"Hum jaante hain aap humse bohat pyaar karte hain, lekin aap bhi jaante hai na ki jitna pyar aap humse karte hain, ussey kayii zyada pyar hum aapse karte hain" Khushi whispered in Arnav's ears while he cuddled her in to a hug.
"Accha? Toh batao tum mujhse kitna pyar karti ho Mrs. Khushi Singh Raizada'" he teased her.
"Woh hum baad mein batayenge, pehle hum aapke liye shirt lekar aate hain" saying this she nudged him and walked up to the closet..while he sighed.
"Yeh white shirt aap par bohat accha lagega, hai na?" she gave him the shirt and beamed.
He wore it obediently.."Haan, Di bhi bata rahi thi ke white mujh par kaafi accha lagta hai'Maanna padega wifey, tumhari choice acchi hai" he winked at her.
"I know, after all maine aapse shaadi jo ki" she giggled'
He took a step forward to grab her but he was interrupted by a phone call.
"Haan Aman, kya baat hai?" he asked with a straight face.
"Hello sir, woh problem hogayi hai" Aman replied in a tensed tone. Arnav quickly disconnected the call and started leaving' He didn't forget to inform Khushi about his hurry though'
"Khushi, mujhe jaana hoga, woh sheher mein chaos and riots shuru hogaye hain' Tum apna khayaal rakhna'ok" he planted a kiss on her forehead and left.
Anjali saw him leave in a hurry, she knew he wouldn't answer any of her questions looking at his pace, she instead thought to ask Khushi'
Khushi ji, Chote itni jaldi mein kahaan jaa rahe hain?" Anjali came forward and asked her sister-in-law.
"Woh Di, Aman ka phone aaya tha, unhone kaha ki sheher mein riots horahe hain isliye'" she didn't feel the need to complete the sentence as she knew Anjali understood everything.
It was noon, everyone were busy in their own chores in the Raizada house' Khushi was bored sitting in her room, she was switching between channels trying to find something interesting on T.V. She knew Arnav was prone to facing dangers every time, but today, she was scared, she had a feeling that something tragic was going to happen' She quickly switched to the news channels... The media people started showing footage about the riots and bloodshed. This made her all the more tensed' She got up and left the room in a haste' Anjali who was standing at the door, looked at Khushi in a state of bewilderment. She tried asking Khushi about the problem but all her efforts went in vain.
She shifted her focus at the T.V. and understood everything' She quickly dialed a number'
Here Khushi was running across the streets of Delhi all panicked' She wanted to see her husband safe, and she didn't bother about anything else' She kept running' She reached the place where the riots were taking place' Looking at all the bloodshed and chaos she felt helpless' She was asking everyone if they have seen her husband Commando Arnav Singh Raizada'Everyone so busy with their own stuff that they didn't listen to her plea'
Anjali called up her chote to inform about everything.. "Haan di? Sab theek hai?" he asked worriedly '
"Woh chote Khushiji, unhone news mein tumhe aur tumhaare aas paas ke haalaath dekh kar kahin chali gayi hain..shayad woh tumhare paas aarahi hain'Humne unhe rokne ki koshish ki par woh nahi ruki'" she told him everything.
"What? DI aap jaanti hain yahan kitna danger hai'aapne usey yahan aane hi kyun diya?" he shouted on the phone.. "Main usye dhoondta hoon di, aap apna khayal rakhiye" he hung up..
He was searching for her helter skelter ' And she was searching for him' She was petrified at the sight of the blood and dead people' Her eyes were shedding tears of fright, anyone could tell how scared she was with teh sight in front of her'
"Bhai saab, aap hamey bataiye na hamare Pati kahan hai, unka naam Arnav hai'." Khushi started asking people'but nobody cared to answer any of her questions'
She was tired now, she wanted to see him alright, she was praying to her devi maiyya all the time'"Kahan hai aap?" she muttered under her breathe'
"Khushi!" He called her from behind'waiting for her to look at him.
She felt her heart beat faster after hearing his voice.. She looked at him, smile gradually forming on her lips'the tears still flowing unstoppably though' She stood there waiting for him to come up to her' He sighed and took steps towards smiling at her'
All of a sudden, her smile faded she froze the blood rushing to her eyes'her left hand moving towards her heart while the right hand was stretched forward' in his direction' Arnav's gaze shifted towards her heart, he froze in his footsteps looking at the sight' Her heart was bleeding, he could feel her pulse rate falling, she was slowly going unconscious'. "KHUSHI" He ran to hold her and she fell right into his arms'
"Khushi'Khushi, open your eyes, Khushi, main yahin hoon, tumhare paas, apni aankhein bandh mat karna'.please Khushi'Please don't close your eyes, look at me.." he was making futile attempts for her to breathe 'but she knew she wouldn't live anymore' her breath was gradually decreasing'
"Hum jaante hain ke aapne kabhi humse nahi kaha ke aap humse kitna pyar karte hain, lekin hum samajh jaate thay, aap humse bohat bohat pyar karte hain, isliliye aap hamari har unkahi khwaish poori karte thay, aur aaj bhi, aapne hamari aakhri khwaish poori kardi' Hum hamesha aapki baahon mein marna chahte thay' Aurdekhiye'aaj bilkul waise hi hua'" she faintly smiled'
"Khushi shut up, tum kahin nahi jaa rahi ho, samjhi tum' Tum meri har baat maanti ho'toh aaj yeh baat bhi maanni padegi' Tum mujhe chod kar kahin nahi jaa rahi ho'aur agar tum chali gayi toh main tumse kabhi baat nahi karunga' Did u hear me?" he screamed helplessly at her'tears blurring his vision'
"Hamey maaf kardijiye commando sir, aaj hum aapki yeh baat nahi maan sakte' Lekin aap hamse naraaz mat hojana' Aapse bohat pyar karti hoon, aapki naraazgi nahi seh sakti' she smiled faintly.."Abb mujhe jaana hoga'I am sorry, I am sorry" she sobbed'"Nahi, nahi jaane dunga main tumhe'kahin nahi jaogi tum'" he refused to let her go but she was already gone' He didn't realize when her breathe froze' She left him, forever'and he still thought she was breathing' She lay in his arms while he squatted on the street amidst the chaos'.
