today was an awesum episode but the last scene was unbeatable;

khushi dressed in a beautiful lehenga was very excited for her friend's wedding...she came n started to put jwellery on her friend...she was excited to see her friend in beautiful bridal lehenga but then she also noticed the nervousness, the fear of starting a new life, which she never experienced...khushi asked her to relax n try to enjoy the very important day of her life, her marriage...arnav on the other side was trying to help buaji, he was asked to take cooler inside the room where brides are getting dressed...khushi was delighted n happy with her friend's marriage, arnav entered the room n saw the beautiful sight of her wife in lehenga...khushi was loking exotically beautiful n was beaming with happiness for her friend's marriage...the delighted friends teasingly asked khushi about the reason of her smile, was she happy thinking about the old times, about her marriage? asked a friend, unknown of the truth...the words of her friend clicked n something precious was lost from his wife's beautiful face, she lost her smile by the question of her beautiful marriage...all the memories, all the happening came in front like a mirror in both eyes of arnav n khushi...he saw the painful eyes of her wife who was trying very hard to look happy...the wedding is the most beautiful day of any girl's life, she can't be sad, she can't be unhappy, she can't show the pain...but he knew the unbearable pain she was going through, he felt it too, he saw it in her eyes...she was again asked about how she looked in her wedding, he could just helplessly stare n can't go n hold her,his life n console her, say her sorry, he was helpless...she will be brave, she can answer these questions, khushi will not allow anything to ruin the beautiful wedding of her friend...hamara lehenga isi rang ka tha, par usme hara rang bhi tha, hume hara pasand hai...she started to describe the wedding outfit,he could see the pain she was going through...she described all the beautiful things she could say about the dreadful night...she dreamt of wedding, he knew it meant alot for her...just then she saw the image of his husband, of his love in the mirror, who did all this to her...they stared, they remembered every pain they felt that night, the harsh realities by which this marriage happened...the blackmail, forced marriage, he knew, he was wrong...she knew something is wrong n something big is behind all this...they knew each other well, but his mind was taking over his heart, what he saw was truth or what he feel is true?...he kept the cooler n started to move out, she was seeing him go, she wanted answers , she wanted to stop him...he stopped n looked back to his life, to his wife...but then again pain was more than the love n they were helpless n could not say anything more to each other!

the last five minutes was the best scene of today's episode...pain is there, hurt is there...but at last the love will be the only thing by which they will survive!

Hiya Shagun! Thanks for summing up what those last five minutes had for us. I simply was too touched by that scene to make a post today. So, I'll just sum up my thoughts on this last scene here:

IHAVE A DREAM

First, let's analyze Kushi's dream wedding attire:

Red lehenga with Green in it:

Red is a colour known to symbolize passionate love. When a person wears red their personality is highlighted and the feminity is accented. Red provides energy to go after one's dreams and protection from fears and anxieties. What about Green? Greenis a colour that stands for life, growth, harmony and conscious love….Wearing green is said to be a sign of healthy relationships. Also, didn't Kushi say that to her green was like the wide open outside….This stands for freedom: freedom to love, freedom to choose, freedom to remain fresh and young and happy always, freedom to be herself (without any kind of complexes) beside her husband with no inhibitions. Arnav would have given her all this if the misunderstanding wasn't barring their relationship…..She knows that.

This is all that Kushi dreamed of would follow her marital life after wearing such an attire on her wedding day.

Bangles:

She would have worn green and red right? So what do those bangles stand for? Green bangles stand for marital luck and Red for energy….

Bangles also stand for happy loving marriage. Kushi wanted so many bangles that her hand would not be seen. Many bangles means hope for a lot of happiness and love in her marriage. (You may note, for future reference, that breaking of bangles is a sign of danger or unpleasant incident involving the husband.)

Earrings:

No symbolism involved here, I can think of or find. But it is a known fact that heavy earrings stretch your earlobes. Symbolically to me this sounds like a defective listener. So by meaning that Kushi had long earrings that were not heavy and made a tiny sound, it implied her beauty by the length and the fact that she would always be a good listener to her husband needs, her in-laws demands and her future children's necessities.

Anklets:

To me, a jingling anklet is a sign of pure femininity. It's was a tribal sign that announced of a woman's presence. Also, in the ancient times woman were made to wear them in her marriage (those were heavy and difficult to 3walk in, though) and this was a symbol of a woman in "chain and that her husband was her owner". But for Kushi, she wore it even before getting married and it was just a sign of her purity. To me, the more sounding her anklets were, the more pure her heart….And I would say, a pure offering to her husband, blessed by God.

And then she said about the teeka. Yes, a lot of religious meanings attached to. But what I was considering was Kushi's simile: like the moon. Did she mean it shone like the moon? That would stand for femininity and light in the darkness…..Or did she mean that it was shaped like the moon? The Kshatriya's or warriors's of the ancient India wore half-moon shaped tikkas…..and our Kushi does have her warrior spirit intact.

And yes, that kind of summaries our Kushi's dream wedding appearance….for a girl who gave so much importance to marriage, it definitely counts for. And I loved the fact that Arnav listened to it.

MIRROR MIRROR, PAIN AND SINNER

Now the mirror again is that reflection of the inner "real" person which in reality cannot be seen and they saw each other as they "really" were inside. The pain and guilt on either face was seen by the other….If it would have stopped there, we would have just had to sit back and feel touched. But something more happened. They turned away from the reflections and took a moment for one to turn back and look and the other catch the retreating eye returning….Yes, this did it for me. There was no longer any medium needed for them to see the "real" Arnav or Kushi. No, Arnav didn't need someone else to tell him, or a mirror or show him what Kushi felt…..And Kushi didn't need an accidental phrase from his mouth, or a Heer-Ranjha act to see her "real" understanding and guilty Arnav….They saw! Yes, this time they really saw! They were always blind, always seeing an illusions. Earlier, for once it might look like love but the next moment it was back to being normal again. But this time, they paused and stared, spoke through the silence, told where they had fallen. Kushi was asking the "why" again, and he knew it reading it from her eyes, and he was saying he was sorry and nothing more could he say for he was overwhelmed by the pain he could see in her eyes...Naked souls...

Simply beautiful scene! This did it for me!

And all the rest of the epi: do I have to mention?

Payal's eyes and mouth looked good as scary, Mami and Mamaji in their usual comedy but I don't remember any of it coz the last scene of the epi was so capturing that that is the only one that's on my mind now. And yes, no Bubbly and no Shyam. Cow dung falling might have symbolism but I'm too tired to think now. And too overwhelmed by that last scene too, to symbolize…..But if you need a quick symbolism, I can say, him not paying attention to what is needed in his life, falling into danger (probably brought in by that Shyamwa) and then he will deny help from Kushi at first but she will still come and help him. Her help might irritate him at first and then he will realize that its her love that she using to heal his wounds by (Kushi as the "water" symbolism, remember?)and then he will gladly accept it . *sigh* if only there was no crowd and they were two, alone, I am sure he would have stepped forward and drenched her too…(Shyam and Anjali got that chance! Why couldn't ArHi?) Oh ya, and then wet Arnie is hot!

Also remember, yesterday he said "you can't do all work alone " and today he said, "will you do what I want"…..though he stated what he wanted, these two dialogues were said on the Mehandi day before he was about to kiss her on the cheek. Now Kushi will definitely try and make him stay maybe….by telling that he didn't complete the mechanic work. Its just maybe. And then?

*yawn* tired by the stressed day at college and touched by that last scene. No separate posts from me, I repeat. I am calling it a night, Shagun. Thanks for letting me write here! You're a real sweet!! And Shagun! Did you notice, I played your "res" trick and this time, landed right under 'your' nose!!!*wink* Take care, buddy…….
