Life Ok's show Devon Ka Dev - Mahadev is popular for various reasons – from beautiful sets to pretty costumes and jewellery. But what has kept the viewers hooked on to the show is the amazingly gripping performance by the handsome Mohit Raina who plays the role of Lord Shiva and Mouli Ganguly who plays the role of Sati. The story has taken an interesting turn wherein Sati insinuates her body with all her powers and destroys her human body on beign provoked by her father Daksh(Satendra Paul). With this Mahadev is extremely angry with Daksh and wants to kill him for his indiscipline and enormous ego. Thus, one sees the destructive avatar of Mahadev – Rudra.

First we see Shiv wants to be left alone, he cannot get over sati's dead body. On the other hand, Tarakasur decides to attack 'prithvi' first, to make humans their slaves in order to stop yagne's and weaken 'dewatas'. All dewatas look upto Vishnu to help the situation. But he is more concerned with mahadev's state of mind. Mahdev carries sati in his arms and aimlessly roams. Vishnu gives other dewatas two options, one is to break sati's body into pieces with Vishnu Chakra. He warns them that this situation can get worse. Second is to stop tarakasur. Vishnu and other dewatas appear in front of shiv who is in outer space. Later, we see Shiv is in a Desert, He decides to live as human as Sati lived, he won't be a god anymore. Tarkasur knows about Sati's body is on earth and Shiv is on earth. Only way to find Shiv is to do "Maha Mutyujay Jaap" he will definitely come back. They do Jaap but Shiv Doesn't come.

Shiv is in desert searching for Sati. He finds a piece of Sati's flesh. Nandi finds one glowing stone, he comes near to find out what it is and understands that it is Sati's body part… he runs towards Shiv. Vishnu, Bramaha, Laxmi and Saraswati are talking about Shiv. They decide this time they will not force AdiShakti to take Birth. They want her to decide on her own when and where to take birth. Nandi comes to Shiv and tells him he found Mata Sati's body. Shiv & Nandi reach there and find Asurs(demons) guarding the place. Shiv kills them all. Shiv takes Sati's pind glowing stone in the hand, then something happens…catch the show to know what is it?
