i don't understand one thing: how people adress to gopi

why would anita adress rashi as "rashiji", but only says "gopi" to gopi? while gopi adresses to anita as "anitaben", and rashi adresses her as "anita" and "tum"!!

this lack of respect towards gopi seriously gets on my nerves!

I'm not sure, may be because Gopi is younger than Rashi and Anita. I think the custom of adding 'Ji' with the name is when talking to some one elder to you.

well Gopi with her care & concern cuts across all the formalities to make the other person feel good & as one of them & hence maybe thats the reason they do not call her with a ji or ben...but at the sametime Gopi respects everyone & hence she addresses everyone with respect !!!

in other shows and films we see elder people add "ji" to the name of youngers. i don't think there is an age category for this mark of respect, but i may be wrong 🤔

still i don't understand what prevent them to adress her as gopiji, even if she makes everyone feel good, i would say especially because she takes good care of everyone, she deserves this much

I second that anger...It seems she is being downplayed in every sense of the word...from happiness to respect. The only person so far to show her any kind of love and respect besides Koki and Ahem (nowadays) is Jigar 😕

Hmm.. I actually think it is because everyone knows she is younger.. So we address our elders with a "ji" and younger ones with just names.. But yeah.. Anitha should have called her Gopiji, I guess. But as Gopi called her Anitha ben, she just assumed Gopi is younger.😊

Yes, I have noticed that too. When Ahemji introduced her to Anita on the stage, Anita immediately said - Thanks Gopi. She didn't know at the time how old she was and Gopi hadn't spoken to her. I thought it was odd that Anita didn't call her Gopiji.

yes jigar, though elder than gopi, used to call her gopiji before her wedding, and now gopi bhabhi.

I love him for that, but i am really sad that other just call her gopi

the cvs lack of consistency is getting on my nerve.
