Shaun, I haven't seen today's episode, but what I have seen of Kokila so far is that she does everything for her family. Family takes the top place in her heart. In this case, she has no feelings for Anita and she is not doing this for Anita. True to her character, she is doing it for the family. Back when she rejected Anita, she did so because she didn't think she was a good match for Ahemji. She disliked her for Ahemji. That doesn't mean she disliked Anita as a person (I am reserving judgment on this; will need to see more of their interaction) and also, that doesn't mean she feels Anita is not good enough for other boys.

She wants to wash off the accusations on ahem that's it😡

about Anita not being fit as a daughter in law...at the time the virtues that Koki wanted were only fullfilled by Gopi...Anita did not even skim that (hell most women would not I certainly would not have fit the bil)...so it is not so much a not wanting Anita...but a wanting Gopi...

If you claim you trust in a Girls virtue...and are jumping to her defence that is the best line of defense to make her a protectorate of the Modi's...and that is what she did...

Now given the accusations she says she will find a good match that is again a broad statement of My Ahem is not guilty and this girl has done no wrong you dont know what is missing...

this is all heat of the moment...the rest ...Anita's feelings...the issues will only come when the fire has subsided that is the immediate...offer her a roof and the trust ...

I don't think the society will think any more (or less) of the Modis than before. Lets face it, the Modi name has been dragged through shi%$ before too--Kinjal modelling, Kinjal pregnancy, Rashi leaving, recent pooja fiasco, laddoo episode. Doodh ke dhule nahi hai.

Now, Ahem is trying to keep everything behind the curtain, but that doesn't do anything for his image. Everyone has seen him in bed with Anita. They've seen him carry her out of the hall. Now, Anita will be at the MM. It doesn't look good because society works on only what it sees. They don't know what's really happening.

EDIT: I should add that a counter argument could be that it doesn't matter what society thinks and that what should matter is what you think of yourself. However, even that looks to be just worth naught right now. Why is Ahem having his insaniyat ka bukhar? He thinks that Anita and his name is blemished in front of society. Why is Koki vowing to get Anita married? She thinks that will restore Anita's reputation because it has been ruined in front of society.

Agree with you, Rachna. But Modis still think of themselves as the pillars of the society. They have to keep up the appearances na, even if in their own minds😆. They are izzatdar insaans giving sahara to becharis of the world. That will make them look mahaan in their minds.
