Karan Johar celebrates the completion of Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna
Karan Johar is finally relieved that he has completed the last part of his film which was a song for Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna . It is believed that Kajol too will make an appearance in this song . Earlier the song was postponed on several occasions, firstly because of the heavy downpour for two days and secondly because a member of the cast could not be present for the shooting due to other commitments. Karan has worked really hard on the shooting of his film Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna as with this film he forays into a new and unchartered territory. The film deals with failed relationships and how different people deal with these relations. Now that Karan has wrapped up the shoot, he feels that he needs to pamper himself and his cast who did a fine job and what better way than to celebrate with a party.
Karan Johar is a well-respected director in bollywood and has many friends and well-wishers, so naturally the who's who of bollywood was there to wish Karan all the best for his forthcoming venture KANK. The venue for the lavish affair was a five star hotel. Amitabh Bachchan attended with wife Jaya and son Abhishek in tow. Amitabh sported a young and cool look like his character in the film, he wore a black coat with blue jeans and looked as fit as ever. Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Dino Morea, Malaika and Amrita Arora were all present at the party. Karan's mom Hiroo too attended her son's party.
And though the rains are always lurking in the corner during this time of the year, everyone seemed to be dressed in casual wear but nonetheless there were several style statements. When some of bollywood's hottest men and women are in the same room, its definitely a dazzling sight to see them shimmer and shine. Dino Morea sported a rugged beard look and was seen frolicking around with designer Sabina Khan. Lyricist Javed Akhtar also came clad in his usual kurta style. Music composers for the film KANK Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were also spotted having a good time and chatting with singer Shibani Kashyap.
Preity looked cool in denims and black boots; she also sported a funky top which had some interesting wordings. Choreographer Farah Khan and make-up artist Mickey Contractor were present at the bash. The Arora sisters, Malaika and Amrita also managed to dazzle and get everyone's attention. While Amrita too sported denims and funky boots, Malaika opted for denims and stilettos. Everyone had a great time and the party rocked till the wee hours of the morning. KANK will release on August 11.
Unfortunately everyone already seems to have moved on pretty fast from the after effects of the bomb blasts, our bollywood stars too. Well I guess the stars took the mantra of keeping up the spirit of Mumbai literally.
