Beyond the horizon can anybody really see?
sitting besides the lonely waters, Is it really me?
Has anybody heard the quietness talking?
Another sweet voice, will there ever be?
Mohan's and Medha's life echo this words perfectly. They both have their loved ones around (what ever they are left with) but they both r lonely deep inside. In initial episodes we have seen how much medha is broken by the loss of her love and how much Mohan is affected by loss of his companion.
Companionship is important in everybody's life. I am not taking about love, friendship or relationships in particular, just the companionship, togetherness with someone who understand you and with whom you can even talk through quietness. This is Na Bole tum Na maine kuch kaha. And Mohan and Medha shares this companionship in quietness. Quiteness because most of the time their expressions on face converse and sometimes their eyes become their language.
Yesterday's episode opened a discussion where some think Mohan should not have confessed his word other think that moment was the most beautiful expression of love. Well I think Mohan said what he truly but pretended as if he is saying it as a husband would say in such situation. I am not starting this debate again but lets take this a step further.
What if Mohan actually confesses his love? I know we all r dying for this to happen but is he himself ready for this? I guess NO. He knows he is falling for her but still he wants to keep it onesided like a secret admirer. reason being he does not want to hurt medha's self respect or in anyway make her feel a object of sympathy. Secondly is he really ready to be a father of two children? I know he loves Nanhi but that alone cannot be the reason for his decision. He has to be absolutely sure and confident of himself while taking any step further. He has has to be strong enough to face Amar's family and his own family and the society (very typical but rudely true)
Another hindrance is Medha herself...she is still so much in love with Amar. She sees only Amar as far as she can see. And she rely only on his memories whenever she is lonely. Even though she would hear the quite voice of love, she would not respond to it...It is not easy to forget a love of 11 years and that two when she has the symbol of that love Nanhi and Addu. . She cannot respond to Mohan's love just because he loves her or just because she likes him too. There has to be something much more that would take her beyond Amar, beyond the horizon. There has to be something that would voice the quietness between them. And she need to listen to that soft and quiet voice that will give her courage and boldness to look beyond the horizon. Beyond where Mohan will be waiting quietly.
