let me explain something...i love the character of scarlet o'hara..do i like her? NO...I love the character of heath cliff...Do i like him? NO NEVER...

But yes I would be able to like Indira because maybe I know how to deal with people of her sort...Maybe because my profession demands that understanding and somewhere down the line I see this Kid in her. That Kid resurfaces many times.I adore that kid. Have you seen her expressions sometimes? awww...ok coming back to the topic...I would not feel intimidated with Indira if I were to meet her in real life provided I knew her personally too...But If i just saw her like some outsider who uses her chappal to control people and slaps them into submission...I would run away...lols

agree liking and loving is different - love has no reasons( i dislike scarlet btw) whereas there are always reasosn to like and dislike atleast you recognise it.

umm ...the kid is there like her staring at her dad or running away from her dads shop...the adolescent too who s now grinning madly in love...the woman in her whos worried that the sindoor is wiped off...yes all thats there and i love her as all these.

why i dont like her----maybe because everytime she has a choice of looking at the brighter side she turns her face the other side. also i dont like the chappals all the time. and perhaps i dont like the not thinking from others pov as well- she thinks of others but usually doesnt give the others chance to think for themselves. i guess it s safe to assume that she has done all this in the past few yrs before she matured to become hitler! possible.

rishi once told her u r not he only one with baggge in macau . i think thats my grouse against her though why it hit me when she was married and happy is beyond me.😊

But seeing her the way we did...close and upfront...from the eyes of all the other characters..yes I did like her and love her too...it was a bit of sympathy, a bit of understanding and a lot of respect from my part...most of all I empathised with her...

People who judged Indira from the cover...saw her tough exterior..never bothering to know her heart would never be able to like her...but I guess my vision was more in depth...and maybe even Rishi saw her the same way...with the eyes of his heart...he could have sensed her helplessness which he must have felt in his childhood...

Its difficult to be around Indira for long when she is Hitler...but if you are considerate and don't keep mocking, blaming and using her...It is easier I guess...Like ishaan and Amma...they like her...cause they saw her from close quarters and understood the caring heart beneath the stiffnes...

So...to answer your question...Yes I like Indira...in every form and format...

exactly my thought

Hmmm...it is possible she will slowly transform into a more flexible person with time...You know in life you become more flexible when you socialise more...I have never seen Indira socialising...One thing is there...she never got a chance...another thing...she did not believe she can be happy...ever...its like NO one can make her happy come what may...Rishi has somewhat changed that concept for her...it remains to be seen if she can become flexible with time...right now she is just happy...its the giddiness of love than actual peace and harmony...

i hope some of her college friends meet her and she shares her happiness and marriage with them.

even khushi will be multiplied when you share it with someone.

uski familywalon ko saath share nahin kar sakthi--
they will all make unhappy faces seeing her happy.

do you remember mannas face when indira asked him jokingly--aapko behan ki hasi raas nahin aayi??

Just my experience but I believe you learn more life lessons and people skills when dealing with people at work than just mere friends, especially college friends. Dealing with hard issues, learning to like while having intense arguments, making people comfortable with coming to you with their problems, inspiring people, making them do what you want and make it seem as if it was their idea in the first place, respect for people's ego etc ...are all lessons one learns the hard way at work. These lessons are what consititues maturity.

College friends are for fun and laughter, reliving carefree days. But not really serious stuff.

This is the reason for my recurring disappointment with Indira. She has been out in the workplace for a long time. Yet she deals with people as if she is a hurt 17 year old lashing out at the world for the unfair hand that life has dealt her.

With friends, one can leave them if they act wrongly towards us. But we cannot do that with work. We have to put up with a lot and learn to deal with it in a positive manner because our livelihood is at stake.

If Indira has not learn't people skills and gathered a bit of "narmi" by now, I do not know if she ever will. Love certainly changes oneself. And Rishi has had a positive influence on her in making her say things like "sorry" etc. So keeping my fingers crossed
