I started watching this show soon after it started coming on tv. I loved chota Jagya/Avinash and choti Anandi/Avika. I loved the concept of the show and felt the other things shown in the show were good too, like young girl (Gehna) getting married to a widower.

Jagya and Anandi were beautifully supported by other cast members (Dadi sa, baapu etc). But ever since they have taken a leap, the show has lost it's essence. Its like I watch this show for few days and then I stop. When I feel the show has got interesting, I start watching it again. I have started watching it again these days but I dunno how long will this continue...

I thought I would share my thoughts with you guys. Tell me what u guys think. Would love to have a healthy discussion. 😊

I agree kids anandi and jagya were cute...it was fun to see their childhood banters and how their childhood friendship blossemed into love...I also liked the initial romance of grown up anandi and jagya...now when i see those old episodes it looks painful...i feel really sad their sweet love turned so bad.😭😭
in a way its good also had they shown childhood marriage turning into a happy marriage it would encourage child marriages.

Looks like I am the only one who hated the pre-leap BV and child artists, but got hooked onto post-leap BV!!

Well I liked in that after leap they were trying to show what happens or what would more than likely happen in real when child marriages happen I felt by showing Jogia and Gauri they were showing the country LOOK! This is what happens if you have a child marriage. I'm glad that at the present they are showing reality and my interest in this show doubled post leap.

After showing how child marriages end they will start with how illegal relationships will end. They can't glorify illegalism in this country. The show is based in rajasthan, an Indian background, so that can neither deny the legality nor the family values.

Well there was a novelty when they were kids and now as grownups it is like other shows with complicated love stories :) Even though both of it showed things that were just wrong. Young BV: child marriage, so wrong. Old BV: remarrying without divorce, again wrong.

But I feel other than the leads, the other characters too have changed. And I liked most of them in the young BV days better. For eg, I do feel that the dadisa character, who was evil when BV had the youngsters, was my favourite. She is great in her nicer avatar, but she was excellent when she used to terrify the young Anandi. But then everyone has to grow up!!

It isn't about legal or illegal anymore or they would have made the "illegal" a big factor and not decided to grant divorce after which there will not be any complications for the two who want to be married. They want to show Anandi getting a new life a proper life and a shaadi done when the word shaadi is actually understood! And I completely support that. I hope they don't turn this show into a karma and revenge show and actually portray what they were meant to all along - which is the evils of child marriage.

Infidelity and betrayal are not results of child marriage only. They can happen even in normal marriages. Actually this type of betrayal is more common in normal marriages.

Further grown up Jagya was happy for a while with his childhood bride. Nothing to do with child marriage in his case. It is only a bahana to eat outside food.
