New twist and turns

Rakesh Bedi, who plays a doting father in UTV-produced show Shubh Vivah, will now be seen in a new avatar. The actor's role is expected to undergo a few changes. Buzz is that Rakesh's character will be seen getting entangled in his daughter Saroj's marital problems. When contacted, the actor said, "That's true. Till now, I was seen as the loving father who hopes that his daughter is happily married and settled in life. He finds her a loving groom too. However, there are new twists and turns in Saroj's life and unintentionally I get dragged into it. The show will take an interesting turn and Eijaz Khan, who plays my son-in-law, will have a larger presence in the forthcoming episodes."

So, will Rakesh's character continue to be the doting father or will the audience get to see him as an angry father who will step up and ensure that his daughter is happy? "For that you need to watch the serial. I will not reveal anything right now as it will spoil the suspense. The story is not set in an urban city like Mumbai. It's based on a family from a small-town. Usually fathers from such places would go to any extent to ensure that their daughter is happy. And they would not want to rub their son-in-law in the wrong way," was all he let us know.

OMG this show just boils my blood...

ITs the most regressive show outthere...

IT should be called ashubh vivah because that is really what it is..

And the main lead Amrit, his character is sooo cheap and low, that they can never spawn a love story between the leads... I just want Saroj to slap Amrit and his cheap and disgusting family right and left... I cant believe she still wants to stay with him..

She should take twist as a blessing in guise! Good riddance.. the only sad thign is that girls that Saroj and guys like Amrit exist out there, its a total sad story!
