Chapter 81

She rested on the couch for sometime lost in thought. After ten minutes, she walked downstairs and made her way to the snooker room. She opened the door of the room and found Maan playing snooker there.

She ran to him and hugged him from behind. She kissed his shoulder and said, "Hi". He smiled and pulled her to the front and hugged her.

"How are you?", he asked.

"Im good! How are you?"

"I'm good too, honey!", he said.

"What are you doing in the snooker room?", she asked and Maan rolled his eyes.

"Geet, I came here to swim. You wanna swim too?", he asked, smiling mischevously.

"Maan, even in some much tension you are being sarcastic is it?

"Geet, Your questions are like that. What am I supposed to do?", he said and continued, "Wanna play snooker?"

"I don't remember", she said and looked away.

His hands automatically went around her waist. He pulled her closer and moved towards the snooker table. They played for sometime and then Geet got tired.

"Maan, Im tired", she said.

"Hmmm", he said. "then why aren't you sleeping?"

"I don't feel like", she said.

"Hmmm, do you want to tell me why?", he asked.

"No Maan. I don't feel like talking anything about what is happening in our lives right now", she said. "I'm tired of it".

"Okay, let's play snooker then", he said and tightened his grip against her waist.

Geet's body shivered at his touch. This was not the first time, he touched her, but still his touch always gave her shivers and jolts.

"Maan", she said, softly, holding his hands on her waist.

"Yes Love", he said, now focusing on the game.

"Can we sit near the swimming pool and talk?", she said.

Maan did not say anything. He simply put everything back in its place and led her outside and closed the door.

They walked in the lawn and then sat by the swimming pool, with their legs in the water. She rested her head on his shoulder and held his hand.

"So, how is Niharika doing?", he asked.

"She's fine. She's pretty nervous actually", said Geet.

"Geet, how can someone be fine and nervous at the same time?", asked Maan, smirking.

"Why cant they?", she asked.

"Geet, I dunno and I don't understand your logic", said Maan laughing.

"Why do you always pull my leg?", she asked.

"Geet, this time it's the water that is pulling your leg", he said, looking at the water in the pool.

"Bye Maan", said Geet getting up to go and Maan pulled her back into his lap.

"Kahan jaoge tum, mujhe chod kar?", he asked.

"Aap hamesha mujhe irritate karte ho", she said, looking away.

"Geet, I and only I have the right to do that. Because I love you. Now lets not fight", he said.

She smiled and kissed him and he kissed her back too.

Both of them started talking about Niharika and Achint. Maan also told Geet about Kiara and Kunal. Though Geet knew eveyrhting about Kiara and Kunal she had to pretend not to know since she did not know if Kiara was ready to face the situations ahead of them. She did not say anything.

"Tumhein pata than a, pehle se hi?", asked Maan. Geet did not answer and Maan shook her up, "Geet".

Geet looked at Maan and Maan gave her a look telling her to answer the question.

"Geet, mujhe pata hain ki tumhein sab kuch pata hain. So speak up", he said.

"Haan! She told me and Naintara some time back", said Geet.

"I see and you did not tell me", he asked, casually.

"Haan, because she wasn't ready to face your questions yet", she said.

"Hmmm, I see how you already seem to be fitting into the family so well. You already know how each person in my family would react and when to speak and not speak", he said, smiling.

"Ofcourse!", she said, "Its my family too".

"Hmmm, Im impressed. Jitna dumb tum dikhte ho, utna dumb tum ho nahin", he said, laughing and Geet looked at him angrily. She pushed him into the pool and tried to get up. He pulled her in and held her by her waist.

"Kahan tha na, tum mujhe chod ke kahin nahin jaoge", he said.

"I'm all wet, let me go", she said.

"Sweetheart, you invited this trouble for yourself", he said.

"How am I Going to go back into the mansion, all wet?", she asked.

"That's none of my business", he said, smirking mischievously.

"I hate you", she said.

"Right now darling, I love you! All wet and hot", he said and winked.

She looked away. He kissed her wet cheeks and she again shivered with the touch of his wet lips on her cheeks.

"Maan", she said, softly.

"Bolo Geet", he said.

While Geet and Maan romanced, there was some serious discussion in the Handa's Delhi house!

"Daadiji, yeh sab kya hain? How can Geet do this?", said Brij angrily.

"Brij, the issue now is not how Geet can do this, but what we should do now?", she said.

"Daadiji, why are you even thinking? Geet's wedding would be with the Anurag. She can resist however hard, but nothing's going to change", he said.

"Brij, you are only looking at two angles here- Geet and Anurag. You are forgetting the third and the most important angle to this trouble", she said.

Brij raised his eye brow, angrily and Daadiji, continued, "Maan Singh Khurana", she said, "The Maan Singh Khurana"

"Kya karega?", asked Brij.

"Even I was in this illusion, that he can do nothing. But I realized he can do much more harm than you can comprehend. I spoke to Anurag today", she said and narrated the entire conversation between Maan and Anurag. She also told him about the conversation between Geet and her.

"Brij did not say anything, Geet's parents in the same room too and so was her sister.

"Geet ki shaadi Maan se hogi", said Geet's dad, confidently and loudly.

Daadiji and Brij looked at him surprised.

"Have you lost it?", Devanshi asked her son.

"No, but I have a feeling that if I don't say no now to Geet and Anurag;s wedding, then I'll lose my daughter".

"Haan, Geet will marry the man of her choice", said Geet;s mom, and continued, "Its final", she said and walked away.
