She did not want to save Jagya from the Dean, she just wanted to save her ass. If she is so honest and admitted her role in getting him ousted from sitting for exams, why can't she be honest about her lies regarding her trip to JEtsar? Gauri just loves Gauri, period.

As for 'bola bhala' Jagya, he is the pinnacle of selfishness. He is the personification of selfishness. The only reason he is still with Gauri, is not out of love but because he is out of options. When he was with Anandi, he treated her badly because he always had his family to fall back on. In Mumbai he has none but Gauri so he is forced to act nice or else he would be left all alone. Remember when Gauri wanted to leave him after she found out the illegality of their marriage (random Mandir scene). He told Gauri, he lost all his family, he has no one, nothing and only she is left and now she wants to leave him. As long as Jagya has a use for Gauri, he will be caring, once he finds a new bakri, it will be bye bye Gauri. Jagya has no sense of loyalty or ethics. He is so fickle, he can be no ones.

Why doubt Gauri's love? She truly loves him otherwise she wouldnt have married him! If she is mean to the Singhs its because she is insecure. And it was never that she didnt trust Jogia she always thought he was the bhola bhala guy being trapped by his family. She thought his family was trying to separate her from him and I can see why she would be thinking that because of what happened in her childhood.
