‘Jassi’ to anchor Extreme Makeover

After playing a plane Jane in the popular daily Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin where Mona Singh later went through an extreme makeover and emerged a stunning beauty, she is now Sony's choice to anchor a reality show that will give an opportunity to ordinary people to correct their flawed looks.

The transformation will be conjured up through the skills of India's top plastic surgeons, eye surgeons and cosmetic dentists, along with a team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers. "Though my experience is only of playing an on-screen character with flawed looks, I can imagine the extent of personal trauma that an individual faces in terms of acceptance and how it can lead to sheer lack of confidence in an individual due to any disfigured exterior.

Often an individual's deformity becomes a barrier in his/her personal and professional life. I am really excited to host the show, which will reach out to people who have given up hopes and help them overcome their external deformities," says Mona Singh. "As a host I think people will find it easy to connect with me. The huge connection will help people open up with their problems."
