No wonder Malayalam actresses are lost to Tamil movies. Should be an eye-opener for all the Malayalees who abuse these actresses for acting in Tamil movies. I remember really bad comments about Meera Jasmine when she became very selective about roles in Mlayalam movies and was more active in Tamil movies

Malayalam film industry is known for making quality films but it is not as large as the tamil and telengu film industries.Even a Mohanlal or a Mammoty,who are considered as malluwood's superstars don't get paid even half the price a Kamal Hasan,Vijay or an Ajith gets.I have heard that they are paid around 2-4 crores per film which is quite less compared to their kollywood \tollywood counterparts
