Misery loves company! Hurt Sooraj wants Sandhya to feel pain

Our source from Diya Aur Baati Hum tells us, "Sandhya is trying to settle in the Rathi house, after
refusing to go with Ankur.Sooraj is hurt and therefore making life difficult for her. He is a changed
man now. He questions Sandhya about everything that she does, and constantly insults her in front
of the family. He no longer supports her. Sandhya is feeling left out and is trying hard to make him
share whatever is bothering him, but all her attempts have gone in vain".

One of the major problems Sandhya is facing is that Sooraj has challenged her to prove her worth
by participating in a cooking competition. He gets extremely upset when the Food Inspection
Department takes away his licence to sell sweets. Everyone blames Sandhya for this as she is the
only one who refused to bribe the official.

Sandhya is worried and at the same time feels bad for Sooraj , "I can understand Soorajji's present
state of mind after his shop has been shut down. But bribing officials is not the solution. Also, now
that he has asked me to prove my worth in front of a huge gathering, I need to prepare myself to
give this challenge my best shot. ".

Sandhya my family will have to suffer. I made her enter the cooking competition to feel the pain
that I am experiencing right now", says Sooraj.
