What an irony of life right? There were two people in love, young and immature, and still wanted to get married and be together. Along with their lives, destiny and evil plans got their respective elder ones knotted in life. The ones who were old and mature except in the matters of the heart and never expected to experience the feeling of love ever again. What once started as love looks like a compromise and a reverse in the story of those who started it as nothing but a deal. Today those young and immature ones have lost their love and are pulling along those who found a true companion along with them. And this time, will it be their responsibilities that would bind them or their love cause bonds don't get made eternal without trials and tribulations.
It's no more of U and I,, no more of any us of sleeping on the couch. What is left is US, the ones who will travel this journey together. This is what we thought on the BIG C night. Alas, the paths got divided. Destination is one but journey would be different. It's no longer our families, but yours and mine. Becoz U and I believe more in our little ones than ourselves. This is where the story stands today from my view point of Priya.
Ram Kapoor : Ever since Nutz came home bruised and beaten up, this man has died a hundred deaths inside. He may not know the truth that Karthik hasn't touched her, leave alone cause a bruise. But he believes strongly in his in laws family. He believes that they could never do such a thing. He cannot simply watch in despair when his wife is troubled because of her DAD. Cause nothing else matters as much as his duty towards his WIFE. Now thats the biggest growth graph in this relationship. To defend his wife and in laws to his step mom whom he worshipped while his Choti claims to have undergone torture by those same people, takes the highest level of trust for a man in a marriage life. Iam not sure how many husbands in real life would take such a stance in 6 months of marriage for their wives against their family. But he did! And right after defending and letting his mom know about why Karthik is not bailed out coz he has to face the music for hurting his sis, he walks in to Priya who is waiting to present the news.
FIESTY Conversation or fizz :
Was it about who was right or wrong? Was it about whether Karthik deserved to be heard or not? Was it about how do we solve this problem? It all ended up in making a point. We love our families and trust them more. That really disappointed me more than anything else. If they didn't show the previous scene of Ram vehemently telling Nih about Priya's family and defending them which is witnessed by Priya herself, this would have been fireworks.Gone through the wind are our trust on each other's decisions. So Ram is amazed that Priya actually thinks Choti has lied coz she mentions that she spoke about Karthik and their family admitting about a fight but no abuse whatsoever. Priya claims to understand his POV on seeing Nutz condition and even admits to feeling the same way due to which she slapped Karthik. She agains understands the pain he was going through. And I say really? Did you bother to talk to Nutz once? Did you talk to ur parents once on Nut'z emotional atyachaar? You conveniently believed Nutz when she spoke abt Ayesha and Sid's intentions but now your bhai's words have become more believable. Ayesha was wrong and she knew it but still supported her as she was her little sister who's dreams were coming true. And if she ever treated Nutz as her own, as she always claimed, she would made one attempt. She forgot how Ayesha spoke abt Nutz and never even once wondered if they would have behaved badly wtih her.
Inspite of the man actually admitting that he was holding his fuse from blowing up just becoz of her, there goes the family card. You trust yours and I trust mine. I don't need your support and I will take care of this by myself. Where was this fiestiness when your sis got a free ride? When your family got unconditional love and support everytime their heads were covered in shame? When your parents were bailed out? This was Priya Sharma at her best once again! I missed to see the budding Priya Kapoor who claimed to love and trust the man and understood every emotion of his.
Mr Ram Kapoor, you are definitely going to have a revelation when you find the truth about your little Sis's pretend domestic violence.
SHARMA's:
Priya Sharma - Fiesty at her best. Again a class act. Loving sister who cares a damn about her own life but wants to save her brother. One who believes in her younger ones word as-is and was willing to put her own life at risk. She was wonderful in the Jail scene. A responsible Sis once again who shoulders the bailing out responsibilities.
Wonder what the Sharma's were waiting for? Isn't their son their own responsibility and they weren't even showed to make an attempt or effort in getting him back? Like Shipra's dialogue, she was convinced that Mr Kapoor would believe their story. Why not, let him know ur behavior and he will ensure a private cell just for you.
Sudhir ji - Two days in a row and this man has had power packed dialogues and center stage. Definitely needed at the madhouse. Ever since Priya Sharma left the house, it just got madder since he was left to just scream "Shipraaa". So first he gets those nosy neighbours out and gives Shipraaa an earful abt not washing dirty linen in public. Middle Class. Lesson no 1. Announce your daughter;s free ride to fame but not your son's free ride to prison. How he knows his own daughter better than anyone else in the madhouse? He senses how things are not as it seems. Brilliant! Loved the father concern! He needs to drill down the hard truths to the others in his family.
Shipraaaji - There is some serious rewiring that needs to be done in your brain. may be.. let me start by getting u one. Now that you have successfully ruined your son's life, is it time to get on with your daughter's? Ayesha is anywyz a goner as she is your replica. This woman is an epitome of ungratefulness. What does she think? Mr Kapoor is an errand boy or a bell boy at her service to take care of their family. I sometimes wonder if she is any diff from Niharika!
Karthik ji - Take some rest. You have some serious planning ahead. Liked that he actually told Priya to talk to Ram once before the bail papers. Can he get some senses in his head and talk to his dear wife?
Priya Kapoor - Oh my love!! My dear Sis Mittal waits for my special take on honest bashing. So here it goes. Women are celebrated in a day for a reason. We can don different caps. We excel as a mom, daughter, sister, friend and a wife. Every relationship is dealt differently and no man can master it but it comes naturally. A strong woman is one who can stand fiercely for her views and loves even more. She can be a wonderful daughter and a supportive wife. Hence the disappointment with PK. As a married woman, we in reality have a maayka and saasural to manage. New relationships are formed and tend to take an edge coz we need to work at it. DOn't trust me. Look at Sudhir's reactions y'day and today. He knew that she had to be with Ram. And supporting your brother needn't be at the cost of your husband's trust. Not after you know the extent at which he has gone to support your family and provide you companionship. Not after you mean the world to him when he can't let to see you sad even for a moment. When you have become a part of his world by default. Life is just about reciprocation. When your husband stands up against his family to support yours, it's only natural for him to expect a bit so. Duty beckons not only as a sis but as a wife. This is reality. Every day all of us post marriage feel the pressure. There's always so much we want to do for our Maayka but there are things in our home tend to take preference. It doesn't make a woman weaker but it is only the stronger ones that emerge to make a balance. May be a little too early to expect from the mature PK?
