With thoughts about Anita completely taking over his thinking, Ahem was lost in the hurt of missing his love, who was moving forward in her life to get married !!! He was not aware of any of his surroundings & was going thru the events automatically !!! As the family friend & business associate had come to invite the family for his son's wedding, he was least intrested. The only thing which made any difference to him was when his kaki introduced Gopi to the guest as the DIL of the house & wife of Ahem, for a second he had come out of world to just register that part of the conversation.
When Ahem saw the name of Anitha on the wedding card, he was shocked ! As he tried to open the card, he hoped in his heart that it was not his love who was getting married & moving away from him !! But since all things were related he knew that it was his love who was moving away from him. He is unable to bear the pain of her separation & was lost even after having all his family members around him !!! When his mom asked him about what he was thinking deeply, he masked under the pretext of work. As his kaka asked him to attend the wedding, he knew he could not see her move away from him & hence did not want to attend. Though he had made a decision of getting married for his mom's sake, his heart always belonged to just Anitha , initially even after his marriage he missed her like crazy & could not even accept his wife but as time passed, his heart accepted the fact that they were no more together & he moved forward in life but her thoughts & his hope that they will someday be together were always with him locked in some corner of his heart !!! But with now seeing her moving away from him forever, his heart pained because without knowing the reality he had a hope that someday things will be fine with them but now with the reality he found his hope being shattered & with his family not giving him a chance to stay away from the wedding, he agreed to it & moved away from the place !!!
Gopi was concerned about what had happened to her Ahemji & what was troubling him !!! In the morning she saw him being very happy & taking care of her but the moment he had comeback to the car after exchanging the watch, he was lost . She thought that since he got delayed to work that he was upset in the morning but now after comingback from work he was still the same & she did not know why was he lost & she was worried for him !!! As she entered their room, she saw her Ahemji completely lost & she wanted to reach out to him & share his burden. With the comfort of how their relationship had progressed where he had started to share with her things which worried him, like when her maaji punished him, he had shared it with her, Gopi sat opposite to him at his eye level to understand his worries & calm him !!!
Ahem was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Gopi calling him & he was suprised to see her with him. He was hurt, pained by his love moving away from him & as Gopi asked him if she was fine, he lost his anger on her. Even after taking his anger on her, he saw her care for him as she asked him to comedown for dinner. But as she walked away, Ahem cameback to the present when he realised that he had hurt his wife in his anger of losing out his love & he stopped her to apologise !!!
At the start of his marriage, Ahem thought & believed that only because of Gopi that he had lost his love & always took out his anger of losing something so precious to his heart because she had come into his life !!! He could not stand her & anything related to her irritated him. He could not take her care & concern as every moment he saw her & her doing things for him it always reminded him about his love who would have been there for him !!! He assumed that her love & care was just an act she put up to get a hold on him !!! The day he knew she was an uneducated person, he told her in no clear terms that she will never be his love & his wife & that he only loves Anitha. But today after knowing Gopi, he knows her care & concern for him is genuine & all it matters to her is his happiness !!! His heart tugged him to see her walk away from him without saying a word even after he took out his anger for no fault of hers & he immediately stopped her to ask her for her forgiveness !!! Even in his anger, he could not see his wife being hurt & it mattered to him !!!
So why does he feel so? is it because he loves her? if yes then what is it that he feels for Anitha even now ? if it is not love, what does he feel for Gopi? Is it just care & concern that he feels for her for he has known her till now that she is a simple women whose life had got co-joined to his life as they are married !!! Has Ahem accepted his marriage out of compromise because he is married to her & for his mom's & family sake...if so why did it matter to him that he had hurt her !!! Or is it that all he feel for Gopi is just concern for her but deep down his love has always & will always be for only Anitha !!!
Gopi does not know why her Ahemji is worried but the moment she knows that he still feels for Anita, it will break her down. The next day after Holi when Ahem did not remember anything, she was deeply hurt & she could not stand that pain but as he apologised she accepted it & with his support she learned to live with that hurt as well. After spending time with her husband who had risen hopes beyond her imagination of his love for her & them being together forever , when Gopi realises that he still loves only Anitha, she will break down completely with no hope left in her to even survive !!! Ahem in his pain has not yet realised what it will do to Gopi when she gets to know about his thoughts & his pain...will he still stay in the marriage even when his heart yet yearns for Anita or will he move away from her because even in her pain all it matters to her is his happiness & for his happiness she will let go of her love for him so that he can have his love, Anitha whom he loved dearly with him always !!!
