Now if that's in context with the rakish attributes the bollywood actors fake.. then mate you should watch out for his films. He's an awesome actor and certainly better than the pretentious Khan.

Mate it was purely his look in that photo that triggered the comment :)

Yeah and what I mean't was that a book should never be judged by its cover.

I wasn't judging his acting or his status I haven't seen him perform, I just saw that pic of his & wrote what I thought Wasn't meant to be something serious. :)

but isn't that what everyone does? even when you are stopped at the airport (though nobody would say it out loud), it's based on how you look or what your name is!
how many europeans are stopped in comparison with folks who are desi/look desi?
these are just the prominent indians, however, the list must be endless if we count the mango janta!

In that case, why wasn't Salman Khan detained any time? He carries his drunkard look most of the time.

And besides, I thought they'd just verify your name and you photo on your passport. May be I don't know much.

maybe he has? who knows!
not always.. some people are pulled over as they are going through security because they 'look suspicious'.. guess how they decide that criteria?
others are on the watch list and are 'detained' or go through further questioning once they go through immigration..

The one name shocked me the most was Praful Patel. I mean come on seriously after all USA has over a million Patel, any where you go people know how to spell the name & everyone knows some Patel.

I think they detained Abdul Kalam because they wanted to get the name and number of his hairdresser so they could put him on their watch list. That dude will never be allowed into the country.
