i am sorry, but that ad posted of MD as a kaamwali bai was awful. not due to production quality or whatever, just the style and way of presenting her...
its tacky, outdated and does nothing for madhuri's image, if she is testing waters for her big motion picture comeback. as much as it pains me to say this, BW is inherently sexist. so, it does matter when madhuri dresses up as a tacky, stereotypcial kaamwali bai.
plus, lets not forget, image is everything and the young audience today, who doesnt give fig for her yesteryear glory wont accept her as a heroine, if these are the ads she resorts to.
