The serial is now a complete saas-bahu show. In this, there is a girl named Lata and her blind parents, and she works for a family that her parents are indebted to. While the head of that family is virtuous, he is ineffective, and his wife & daughter are abusive towards Lata. He also has a younger brother & wife.
Now, the fat malkin's devrani has become jealous of her jewelry, and threatened to leave her husband unless he got her matching jewelry that day itself. So he stole it from her and gave it to his wife. Later, Lata was clearing the wardrobe, the daughter came in and started throwing things, called her mother and put the blame on Lata, and the stage is set for the theft to be discovered and Lata to be blamed as a thief.
Krishna & Jambavati are busy watching this saas-bahu soap, and like in the case of Paundrak, Krishna tells Jambavati that they have not filled up their pot of sins, and so Lata can't be permanently saved. In other words, the serial is signaling us to put up more of this crap. In the meantime, Krishna also tells her that he'd have to take another avatar which makes one wonder where is this story is headed.
It's obvious that they're not going to return to the Mahabharata, which is why it's high time they ended this. Just one thing I'm wondering - are they showing Dwarka as drenched in sin, the way it was b4 the fratricide? B'cos that involved Krishna's clansmen as well, but in this serial, since they lose everybody related to Krishna, will they be just showing a massacre of just the inhabitants of Dwarka b4 ending the show? No Samba, no Satyaki, no Kritavarma, no Vasudev or Arjun?
I know, I know, at this point, does it really matter?
