Things i had hoped would happen:
1. I was hoping to see arnav really crush khushi so that when MU finally gets cleared, his repentance will be justified. I was hoping to see a repentance that can rival his dialogueless performance by the car on the night he saw shyam hugging khushi.
2. I had wanted to see a khushi who is completely broken by the marriage. That's what I had inferred from the interview Gul had given. But she seems to be fine, except for those little skirmishes she has with arnav. Those skirmishes should have made her ponder why arnav blurts out certain things. HELL NO, she refuses to think why he is acting the way he is. Instead she just wants him to get annoyed with her and kick her out. God, where is your dimaag khushi?
3. When they announced the arrival of babli, I was hoping to see some kind of chemistry between babli and arnav, that would make everyone speechless as to how Arnav could be like that. But no, it seems to be just akash and babli.
4. I had been hoping anjali would start suspecting shyam little by little...but no, she still seems to be blindly believing is crappy cover-ups and lies. Anjali, ankhein kholo aur dekho! Jo dikhta hai, wo sahi nahi hai!
5. Before the MU, we had seen how Arnav had cared for khushi. After the MU, we see more of Khushi caring for Arnav. I think it's time now for a scene where Arnav is shown to care for khushi. His love for her had remained hidden post-MU, but it needs to come to the fore openly now...not through a heer-ranjha sequence or some other petty scene. It needs to erupt like a volcano, just like it did on the night he thought she was in the ambulance. It needs to be clear that these two stubborn love birds love each other deeply despite the MU and the circumstances that they married in.
There, these are the main things i want to see. I hope the show picks up steam. If the maha episode is gonna be on april 28 showing some major scene, there has got to be a prelude! I like the fact that shyam is becoming more active, but seriously, i think a lot more needs to happen.
