And Anji Jamba. I think Arnie is diabetic coz of the suger she spits at him and has a few cavities of her own. Your brother is an adult and not a two year old that you have to cup his face during every conversation.

Ratna, I followed the link that Savvy posted and read that interview. I got the impression that the writer was trying to play it uber cool 😎 --- self consciously so --- hence the I'm a cycnic who doesn't believe in love, none of this works in real life, Khushi is weird etc. I did think his take on Gul's vision rings true - it's a desi M&B and Khushi is a jhalli! He also confirmed what we've all been saying - that Khushi hasn't figured out that she's in love and they're having trouble freezing that piece.

Also you and Sush seem very convinced that one of the directors leaving is responsible for the show's deterioration. I'm not sure I understand why? The problem seems to be mainly with the writing --- unless that guy who left was part of the writing team.

Sush -- Nice question!

I would go with #2 ! That is how I have read the ASR character... but maybe I got it wrong like Khushi... he has layers that we have yet to see... his is the only character that the CVs have not butchered along the way!

So more swami stuff coming up...all this I agree is going to lead to a Khushi realization... she is going to a act until she finds it no longer an act and she realizes her feelings... maybe we see some more of the ASR layers peel off along the way ...unfortunately this and the real reason for the marriage and MU ending will happen together and she will be hurt again ... so they separate and he has to woo her back!

Poor Khushi!

Hey I googled. Its a show about youngsters. Nissar should come back to direct ..or maybe Gul takes care of the script again. Someting please...we are desperate.

My mom was telling me that the TRPs are not getting effected by IPL and people are tuning to their show as not expected before. So you think the csv will wake up ?

First they made Arnies character a mystery with no monologues, it looked different and i enjoyed it. But they are turning all other characters a mystery. Shravani...I think the little girl is there for KHushi...that's with who she is going to go to an orphanage when the separation track comes...She won't go back to GH...and this girl is someone without parents who AKASH is taking care of...some how that plot seems quite apparent in my imagination...

The fun part will be to see ARnie visiting
the orphanage to court KHushi like in Jab we met (was tha an orphanage or something like that...where the girl was?)

Hmmm...interesting multiple choices. I am happy to go with #2. But if this is the case, then I am confused about Arnav's expression in the mirror scene. What did that mean? What did it have to do with #1 and #2?

hmmm...Kareena was in a girls hostel... but the orphanage for Khushi for separation track. Oh I like the way you think. Makes me quite proud that I post on this thread. 😃

Sheila, I think LM was part of the original team who created and understoof the characters very well. I think he asked a lot of his guys as well as I remember BArun's interview of the 20-Nov maha episode when he gets to know of Khushi's engagement. He said the Lalit made him do the scene 17 different ways.

Yes the story and script is first and foremost but the treatment bit is the directors job as to how he sees the scene. I have no doubted Arshad's capability but for eg. yesterday when Khushi was nursing Arnie at his bedside., I found Khushi very disengaged , her leaning on the wall, her walking about. I felt it was not done with sensitivity Vs the time when Khsuhi felt sick and Arnie looking after her...

Director style is different of course but treatment is lacking too nowadays. Again no disrespect to the director. I'm sure he is talented hence given such a big job.

Ha ha...may be there should have been a 4th option...Sush is crazy ...to be thinking that there will be continuity in ARNIES character sketch... 😆

Any way...the problem is that CVs were dishing out #3 as the reason...not because it is consistent with Arnies recent characterization but because now the are going to show KHushi falling in love with ARnie and they didn't want thE feminists in us to be offended that she will do that after all the hurt he has caused her...so they decide to emphasize this angle...
