I know this is too late now but I just wanted to get my point across.I have been watching Geet again from the begining,and I really feel that GHSP didn't get what it should have right from the begining.If this serial was on Star Plus,Oreven Colors and Zee TV,any of those then I garuntee this serial would have got all the awards,and been still going.I mean I have never seen Girls rights explained so well and so Beutifully.From the beginig of the. Serial how Geet is treated,how she is hit by her Brother her Grandad.How a forieghner comes and takes her money Izzat everything from her,and yet again the Girl is in the wrong.She then stands up for herself, and goes to make a life for herself and her baby,yet again her past comes in the way.All this was an amazing story to help every girl, not just in India but around the world.How honour killing is so bad but still happens. This serial would have been right on Star Plus as "Rishta Wahi,Soch Nayee!" But unfortunatly it didn't get the recognition that it should have. But I would like to say the makers did a fantastic job,and if I ever see this storyline being repeated elsewhere,I will always say GHSP did this first and hopefully others will remember too.Hopefully GHSP will have reached lots of people and its message!

it might hv not gotten da recognition iyt deserved bt despite being on star1 is captured more hearts then da top 3 shows in the trp scale...no show of other chanel can compete wid it cz those r only shows n GHSP wz an epic, a saga, an eternal lvstory which will be remembered as long as dis world is here...

watching geet is like reliving the greatest lvstories the owrld has ever seen like romeo juliet, heer ranjha etc...

other shows cant reach dis place...

well .. I think it did get the recognition ... othre wise why would people call GHSP a trend setter & not only that a recent article of chemistry in TOI ... maaneet were mentioned ... that was after show ended ... fan following what gurti has ... is amazing ...

coming to what would have happened if it came on any otehr channel other than SO ...
If u ask me ... i am happy that it came on star one .. coz in star one shows ... once a pair is made ... i have never seen a pair broken ...

their is no third romantic angle for any pair ...even if it is shown that ... very soon that angle would b removed ...

any track is not stretched for a longer time ...

more over the best thing was the shows in SO were never saas bahu sagas ... all concentrated on youth based shows ...while many channels mostly concentrate on saas bahu sagas ...

if GHSP was in any channel then thy would have shown what all the current never ending shows of all channels are showing ... saas bahu sagas ... nothing more than that ... all thy would have shown is scheming saas / jhetani / devrani / nanad ... or a friend ... who wins all the time & the leads sit & cry buckets & buckets ...

there is plenty 2 say ...

but ... all i can say is i am happy that GHSP was not aired in any other channel ... & GHSP got the recognition ... & we can see the proof of it every where ...

so i am happy that GHSP was aired in SO ...
