You are all over the places. Is it about patience, external pressure or compromise?? Compromise and patience are completely irrlevant to each other. Once compromises for their own benefits. Patience will not have any effect on compromise.
External affairs is a completely different beast which has nothing to do with patience or compromise and pretty much everything to do with anger management.
To your question though, no, kids don't compromise. Never. They have a choice to get out of their parents' house. If they choose to stay there, they have to obey the rules. Nothing great about that.

Parents normally want their children to be obedient, but parents themselves have to exhibit patience and spend enough time with the kids if they want them to be good.
With both parents working and kids left to they maids they all become monkeys.

Gross generalization or sheer ignorance? Or both? It provided laughter regardless of reason behind your idiotic post.

^^ Didn't like something that someone wrote?
Point out the cause of your dislike politely instead of acting rudely. That's not really all that difficult to do as you might think.

I am not sure what was rude about my post? The post I responded to had a generalized bias towards working parents. It did not stop there. It went on to call their kids "monkeys". I, personally think that calling kids "monkeys" is much worse than rude.
Again, no ad hominem was used in my post. My post was addressed at the post I was responding to. Not the poster.

He was wrong and you pointed that out. That should've sufficed. The additional sentence to ridicule his post and thus him was not necessary.

So, could I have made my point without an additional sentence? Maybe.
I still do not think my post was rude, but let's agree to disagree. Peace.

Patience is truly a virtue. Many times I have seen people get irritated loose patience even over very little things, like standing in line wating, to sit through a conversation etc. speed and patience both are necessary, one should know how to combine them both.

abt kids being yelled at for not listening and hence end up compromising - well parents would have compromised a lot while raising the kids, so it doesnot hurt if the kids have to listen to them or do the work told, ultimately it is their own good the parent wants. If a kid is not able to handle some pressure at an young age how will he/she take over the big challenges life has to offer.

We were three siblings with both parents working, during early childhood we were left in the care of a maid. we turned out perfectly fine. Many couple who work either appoint a maid or a babysitter and the kids are doing great. It is not necessary all become monkeys. Some kids might be hyperactive by nature, they, even if not left with the maid are bound to be naughty and loud, which is not wrong.
