I want to know if there is ANY, I mean ANY serial or drama, where good characters in it ARE NOT TORTURED, HUMILIATED, BEAR THE BRUNT OF BAD GUY'S WRATH or bad mouthed in front of public or family??? Can anyone name one serial????
I have been watching a few on Star, Colors etc and have not come across any. Be it Balika Vadhu where Anandi is humiliated, tortured etc. Be it Diya Aur Bati Hum where Sandhya is humiliated, tortured. Be it Sasural Simar Ka where Simar is tortued and humiliated. Be is Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata hai, Bade Achche Lagte hai and so many more.
Why on earth Indian drama glorify bad people, their deeds. Out of 100 episodes, bad people dominate and dominate and then one episode will come where Good get a chance to prevail.
Its not like bad people have genuine reason to bad mouth good ones. The CV's show bad people bad mouthing good characters without any logic, reasoning or thought. I ask why?
What are we as viewers learning from it? How is our society projected? What our children are learning from it? I know society reflects drama and vice versa but in these TV serials, there's not an iota of truth except some religous occasions, birthday parties etc.
I am afraid that after viewing these serials, no girl would want to become a good wife and no husband would want to become a good one in REAL life because there is no point in it.
Such a pathetic reflection of our Society is highly unacceptable!!!!!!
