Lata Mangeshkar, India's original nightingale, now seems to have competition. After all, it's not everyday that a world renowned singer praises another singer. It happened at a recent event at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where Sonu Nigam performed along with Pakistani Sufi singer Abida Parveen and the popular Pakistani band Fuson. Apparently, Abida was so moved by Sonu's performance, that she said there has been no singer born in Pakistan or in India in recent times that could surpass the talent of Sonu Nigam. Now, that's a big compliment! Go ahead Sonu, take a bow!
