Shahid being considered for Bosco's debut directorial venture

Ever since UTV has announced that it will be co-producing a film with Imtiaz Ali to be directed by choreographer Bosco of the Bosco-Caesar fame, there have been speculations as to who would play the lead in the film. The romantic action comedy is based on the South Korean flick My Girlfriend Is An Agent about a Russian organised crime group who set out to steal an advanced chemical weapon from Korea and two secret agents that try to stop them. While the female is a veteran secret agent who is a master of all forms of martial arts, the male is a rookie who has never been out on the field and always goofs up on the job. The two agents were once a couple who went their own ways till this mission brings them together again.

It's now heard that Shahid Kapoor is being considered to play the male lead in the action flick. Interestingly Kapoor has also been signed on to play the lead in UTV's Hindi remake of the south hit Vettai, in which his co-star is

R. Madhavan, and which is due to take off soon. Kapoor has also signed a film to be directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Bosco's film was scheduled to take off this month but has now been pushed by a few months and will take off in June/July.
