I agree with u on this...nothing irritates me more than the attempt by women to glorify themselves...on one hand we want to be treated equally with men and then we have the desire to be raised on some kind of a pedestal...

Today is International womens' day...why?? Do we have one to celebrate men also? I really don't understand the hypocrisy of women..

I respect my mother..not because she is a woman...but because she is a good human being and has raised me to be one too...but so did my dad...he has an equal hand in raising me and making me what I am today...why aren't the Dads as special as the Moms...I know that my Dad loved me as much as my Mom and my kids' dad loves them as much as I do..

Every other day there are FB status floating around where women are glorifying themselves...i am a mom..i love my kids..blah blah...but so do the dads...why should the Mom be worshipped and not the Dad..Really by doing all this the women themselves prove that they are weaker than men and hence they have a desire to glorify themselves.

The glass ceiling used to be there , even up to a few years back but it was noyt just for women but it was for other minorities as well...but slowly and surely its disappearing.

You see most woman, if wrongly handled, can give us pure hell. But they have several strong points which makes up for this "imperfection". This "imperfection" is perhaps not an imperfection on our part rather than the lady ?

My friend's wife is a living nightmare and he even comtemplated suicide. I told him to step out of it and reexamine the situation.

But in everyday life I cannot function without some ladies helping and sorting things out for me. Making arrangements, minutes, following up on matters, sanity check etc. This is of course partly becoz I am a bit lazy. But I do like the sweet voice of a lady too, they do seem to touch a certain section of the brains and release endorphins.

I agree with RTH that men are mostly very easy to get along and very much less sensitive.

@ the bolded. That is again a generalisation. Not all men are easy going and some can be real high strung 😉 😆

When your work involves helping making babies for a living day in and day out, you realize that regardless of how each gender perceives their significance, life on this planet cannot continue without either sex. Whether they like it or not, both genders need each other -- be it physically or emotionally.
