Thanks for your pm Mahas...its was so comforting. I went to the crematorium today and saw how they placed the white coloured coffin into the furnace. I saw the fire burning at the far end of this oven like thingy. The man then pushed the coffin deep inside shut close the door and turn on the knob just like how we turn on our gas stove in the kitchen. The noise was so frightening and we can feel the heat outside. Then after about 7-8 minutes they opened the door slightly for us to see the coffin now engulfed with flame - the heat was so intense. The beautifully carved white coffin has started melting with its silver handles now turned black - imagine just 8 minutes only. I just couldn't control my emotions and my hubby held me tight while I kept thinking of my dear BIL in the coffin - is this what life is all about?? 😭

Sue Chechi, I can understand your feelings and your pain. As far your BIL, he in his soul level believed, his learning is done with this body and so he made his transition. And he may choose to be born with a new body after some time in the paradise. But if you choose, he can guide you from the Paradise and comfort you whenever you remember him ensuring he is always with you.
I had gone thorugh this same type of feeling, when my wife died (in 2004) and her body was cremated. She had been the most loving person in my life. But as days went by, I learned she had never left me and she is always there to comfort me and guide me to become a more loving person. These days I could communicate with her any moment which came by my practice.
Let God help you in releasing your grief soon.
