Maan was quite confused as well as concerned about his baby sister's health. He looked at Geet who was sitting on the bed quietly and had lowered her eyes. For once he wanted some answers from her. He felt betrayed. He missed his little wify who used to come running to him for every small thing. He knew she was still very innocent but he missed her carefree attitude and hated the fact that she had started hiding so many things from him

Geet could feel his intense gaze on her. Though she herself was extremely worried but she knew that she owed some explanation to Maan. She knew she was completely wrong in hiding so many things from him specially this one. She had already guessed that he knew some part related to Pari as she had noticed his reactions during the Doctor's phone call.

"Main jaanti hoon aap mujhse naaraz ho…."

He was once again left surprised by her understanding. He waited for her to continue, as he wanted to know what she wants to say.

"Main ne aapse bahut saari baatein chhupayi isliye aap gussa ho na….."

He almost smiled. He was glad that she understood his unsaid words like always.

"Abb jab tumein sab kuchh pata hi hai toh phir main puchhon ya tum khud bataogi??"

He said teasingly, trying to lighten up the heavy atmosphere prevailing in the room.

"Doctors ne kaha that ki Pari ke coma se bahar aane ke baad bhi chances hain ki wo puri tarah se theek na ho….. Kyunki uska accident bahut traumatic tha…."

"Accident ya Attempt to murder???"

Maan once again got angry that Geet was hiding things again from him. He gave a stern look to her.

While Geet was quite surprised that he knew about this. She sighed as she realized that Vicky must have already told him about this but she was sure he didn't tell him the complete story….

"Superman ne aapko kya kya bataya hai???"

Maan was confused by her question but he realized that there was much more to the story, so he honestly replied-

"Mujhe pata hai ki Pari is my sister aur she is in coma because kuchh log uski jaan ke pichhe pade thhe... Also that you once met with an accident while saving her…."

He whispered the last bit of the sentence dreading the very thought of it. He didn't disclose that he knew half of the facts from the detective's research, as he didn't want her to feel that he didn't trust her.

"Unn logon ke hired gundon ne Pari ka ... R...ra..rape karne ki koshish ki thi….."

Geet closed her eyes as Pari's horrible state came in front of her mind. While Maan sat on the bed reeling from shock, he couldn't believe that his baby sister had gone through so much...

"…. Luckily mein wahan pahuch gayi aur woh log wahan se bhaag gaye….Pari bahut zyada trauma mein thi… Teen din tak Pari ne kisi ko apne paas bhi nahi aane diya tha mere alawa…. Main saaya ban kar uske saath rehti thi…. Woh toh Mom ko bhi apne paas nahi aane deti thi…."

"Parr phir woh coma….."

Maan asked slowly not understanding anything….

"…. Fourth day mujhe exam dene ke liye college jaana pada tha aur mere pichhe se ek aadmi Pari ke kamre mein ghuss gaya…. Security alarm bajne ki wajah se Superman aur papa waha par jaldi se pahuch gaye thhey parr tak tak uss aadmi ko dekh kar Pari bahut hyper ho gayi thi….. Woh kisi ko bhi apne paas nahi aane de rahi thi…. Mujhe ghar jaldi jaane ki special permission mill gayi after papa's request aur main wahan uske paas gayi parr…."

"Parr???"

"…. Main pari ke paas gayi toh pehle toh usne mujhe bhi apne paas nahi aane diya phir jab ussey yakin hua ki main hoon toh who mere galey lag kar zor-zor se rone lag gayi…. Thodi der baad main ne realize kiya ki uske sar gila hai…. Jab maine touch kiya toh pata chala ki uske sar par chot aayithi aur bahut khoon beh raha tha... Shayad uss aadmi ne uske sar parr vaar kiya tha…. Main react kar paati iss se pehle hi woh behosh ho gayi…. Phir woh coma..."

"Aur woh aadmi…." Maan spat angrily….

"Woh bhaagne mein kaamyab ho gaya…."

Both of them were silent after that for a few minutes. Geet reliving those dreadful moments while Maan still trying to come in terms with the fact of what all his sister had to endure.

Finally Geet asked him a little reluctantly-

"Maan kya aap jaante hai ki Pari aakhir hai kaun???"

"Haan wo meri aur Vicky ki chhoti behen hai…."

Maan was quite taken aback at this question. He couldn't comprehend what Geet was trying to imply….

"Nahi mera matlab woh nahi tha…. mere kehne ka matlab yeh hai ki kya aapne kabhi Pari ko dekha nahi hai…."

"Nahi…. Parr tumhare paas toh uski photo hogi na….. Please mujhe ussey dekhna hai... Meri chhoti behen aakhir dikhti kaisi hai…. I am very sure wo bilkul Mom par gayi hogi haina…. BIlkul unki zerox..."

Geet smiled seeing his enthusiasm, she was very sure that he would be as shocked as she was when she got know PARI... She rummaged her handbag lying on the side-table and took out a photo from it. Even before she could take it out fully, Maan snatched it from her hand.

"OHHH MY GOD…."

Maan was completely shocked seeing Pari's photo... She was none other than MEERA... Geet's childhood friend...

He practically knew his little baby sister from when she was just 9 ... 10 years old and he never recognized her. He met her ample number of times… But...

But something was fishy... how is it possible??? She was not staying in a hostel when she was studying in DPS he knew that. Dadima never knew about Pari, so she definitely was not her guardian. Why was she staying so far away from her real parents??? How was she staying here??? More importantly with whom was she staying??????
