Rimi was seriously confused. She knew that this was Maan's father's name, who had absconded when Maan was 5-6 years old. How the hell did Brij know him?? She was too scared to voice out her thoughts, but Brij kept on blabbering thereby answering her unvoiced questions-

"... Ranjit Singh Khurana... Wahi aadmi jiske kaaran Khurana parivaar ekk time par bahut badnaam hua tha... Jo kisi aur aurat ke liye apni biwi aur bachche ko chhod gaya tha… Parr asliyat koi nahi jaanta…."

He once again started laughing maniacally scaring the hell out of Rimi...

"…..Mere alawa…. Mein jaanta hoon Khurana parivaar ka sabse bada raaz….Wo raaz jiske bal parr main Maan aur uski Geet dono ko barbaad kar sakta hoon…."

Now the curiosity got the better of her, and Rimi finally questioned-

"Matlab Ranjit Singh Khurana tumhare paas hai????"

"Nahi…. Wo toh nahi hai parr uski ek bahut aziz chiz hai mere paas…."

"Kya???"

"Uski Jaan.."

Rimi wanted to ask further but thought better of it seeing Brij's scary eyes that had turned red. She still kept on wondering who is Ranjit Khurana's Jaan???

KHURANA MANSION

Maan and Geet were sleeping all cuddled up. They felt refreshed and rejuvenated after their beautiful confession and their baby moments. Maan had purposely not told Geet anything about Dadima, as he didn't want to give her unnecessary stress. Moreover Vicky had messaged him earlier that Dadima had regained consciousness and was completely all right.

.The shrill ringing of Geet's phone, shrieking on full volume "Chhamak Chhalo" ringtone 😆, disturbed their peaceful slumber... Geet turned the other way completely ignoring it. By then even Maan woke up, he sighed and saw the caller id. It said PARI DOC….

"Geet… Geet Utho Pari se related koi phone aa raha hai..."

All the last traces of sleep immediately vanished when she heard Pari's name. She snatched the phone from Maan and answered it...

"Hello..."

"Is that Ms. Geet???"

"Jee Dr. Suzeil... It's Geet..."

Maan literally jumped hearing that the phone call was actually from Pari's doctor, he prayed that everything was okay...

"I tried contacting Vikrant but was unable to do so…. That's why I had to call you finally…."

"It's okay doctor... Everything's okay na??? I mean Pari is fine na??"

"I am sorry Geet but I called you because it is an emergency…."

"EMERGENCY???"

Maan held Geet's hand tightly and looked at her with questioning eyes but Geet was too shocked to notice it….

"Yes…. Actually what we feared has happened…. Pari has come out of coma but she has stopped responding to the new treatment and..."

"AND…."

"You know she can get very serious and now…."

The phone slipped away from Geet's hand and tears made their way down her cheeks.

Maan caught the phone but one look at Geet's face and he knew something was drastically wrong….

"Geet…. GEEET….. KYA HUA PARI KO???"

He literally shook Geet to bring her out of her reverie, one look at Maan and she knew that he knows everything about Pari…. She leapt in his arms and started sobbing uncontrollably...

"M….M..mMaan... hamari Pari..."

"Haan Geet….Please batao na…. Kya hua…."

That is when they heard some sounds from the phone and realized that the doctor was still on line….

Geet tried to take her phone with trembling hands when Maan stopped her and instead put it on speaker mode so that he could hear everything as well…..

"GEET…. GEET…. ARE YOU THERE..."

"Y..Ya doctor…. A..am s..s..sssorry…."

"It's OK…. I understand…. it must be very tough for you... but now you know what is our last option, right???"

Maan looked at Geet questioningly having no idea where this conversation was heading to and what was the doctor talking about...

Geet wiped her tears and replied confidently,

"Yes doctor…. I do…. Vicky and I are coming there by the next available flight with all necessary arrangements to take her..."

"That's not required... We are already leaving for Delhi in a few minutes with Mr. and Mrs. Khurana…."

"Ma-Papa are there???"

"Yes but I had to inform you too as there are some things which are only between you, me and Vicky…."

"Okay doctor…. Thank you…. I will be ready…."

Geet disconnected the phone and immediately dialed Vicky's phone totally oblivious to Maan or her surroundings. It seemed that she was doing everything mechanically….

"Hey Doll…."

"Vicky Pari is coming from London tomorrow…."

"Hey babes aise achanak…. You mean she is out of coma... that's a great news but tum itni serious kyun sound kar rahi ho???"

"Vicky….She is out of coma BUT woh…."

Vicky was speechless for a few minutes…. He understood what was the situation... He was Confused, Anguished and Scared at the same time... then he composed himself and said-

"Maan ko phone do abhi….."

Geet was not in a position to protest or question anything; she gave the phone to Maan-

"Vicky…. WHAT IS ALL THIS???"

"Maan…. Right now arrange for Pari to stay in Delhi with best medical facility and yes kisi bhi aur shaks ko iss baare mein pata nahi lagna chaiyeh….."

"Kyaaa…. but Pari toh….."

"Maan jaisa main keh raha hoon karo…. Main abhi ghar aa raha hoon Dadima ko lekar…. then I will tell you everything…. Aur haan arrange the best possible security for her as well…."

"OKK…."

"Maan please... Geet ka dhyaan rakhna, she really needs someone right now.. Main bhi jald se jald wahan data hoon..."

"Vicky mere samajh mein kuchh nahi aa raha hai…. Pari is in coma aur tum Geet…."

"Maan…. Pari is out of coma but she needs Geet immediately..."
