Well a probable answer to your teaser:
Amma hugged Munna since at that moment when he says the soulful "main jaa raha hoon Bani" she realised that nothing would hurt her more than to live a life without the man she loves....the fact that he accidentally killed her mother, the pain that he had caused her earlier, the insults he showered on her...nothing mattered at this point in time! She was in love with the man and he was going to die so to her it only made sense to make him aware of her love for him and to let him know that there was no life beyond him for her. 😳
