Hiten Tejwani's Car Spins Out of Control
You never know when a mishap on the road could turn your life around, thankfully, in actor Hiten Tejwani's case, it only turned his car around and the actor escaped with minor bruises. Of course, this does not take away from the sheer horror of being thrown out of your seat as your car spins out of control.
This happened when Hiten was on his way to the sets of Zee TV's Punarvivaah where he was to shoot for a dance cameo at Yash and Aarti's upcoming wedding on the show. People on the streets, it seems, kept pointing to his car along the way. But while Hiten initially thought it was about his headlights being on by mistake, he checked all the controls and found that his headlights and turning indicators were off. So, he didn't make much of it and moved on. As he drove into a clearer patch, he gathered speed and that's when his car swerved to a sharp angle on its own and screeched to an awkward halt as if the tyres were jammed. The actor, though not badly hit, was thrown around within the car. It seems his left tyre was completely flat and the wetness of the road had made the car skid.
Not one to be easily shaken up, Hiten called one of his assistants to come pick up the car and attend to the tyre while he got into an auto and headed to the sets of Punarvivaah. Being the thorough professional he is, Hiten didn't want to delay the cast and crew because of his accident. Of course, seeing him wait for an auto and get into one, he got flocked by his fans who kept shouting "Manav,Manav."
After having shot for his dance sequence as if nothing had happened, Hiten even asked the production crew to not organize a car for him to be dropped back home saying, "It's been a while since he's enjoyed a good bike ride. I'll go home with the make-up man on his bike." Unlike most other actors, Hiten is the last person to raise a fuss, throw a tantrum and have people fawning over him. We like the humility and the professionalism, Hiten. Kudos to you.
