hi all... am back with an update... hope you guys like it... btw i hope you dont think that i am taking the story too slow but all this is necessary to make the story interesting... and finally i shall let you read 😛:-

CHAPTER 2: First Day.

The girls finally woke up the next morning and got ready an hour early as the 1^st day was supposed to be the orientation for them and they wanted to get decent seats.

Deepika's phone rang. It was arnav.

Deepika: yes bhai. I am ready. We'll be there a little early. And best of luck for your speech.

Arnav: thanks deepu and anyway I have asked akash to join you today. So don't you run off with your friends.

Deepika: sure bhai. I'll find akash bhai and we'll sit next to him today.

Arnav: hmm…

And he cut the call.

At the orientation payal, khushi, deepika and akash sat together. There were about 25 students in the class but arnav had informed them that their class would be split up into a number of smaller groups which will have classes together. Fortunately payal, raj, lavanya, khushi, deepika and a guy called abhay were in the same group. these groups were in the same classes but were headed by different group leaders for their respective projects and practical work.

Finally the speeches started. The boring college welcome speeches that mostly no one listens to. But there was one speech, which everyone paid attention to. It was a speech given out by Arnav Singh Raizada. The reason why people paid attention more to him was because of his stature and his attitude.

After he was finished he warned everyone not to indulge in any kind of ragging activities and if any were invited by seniors for ragging they should immediately inform him.

After the orientation arnav came over to meet deepika and akash.

Deepika: god bhai. do you have to be this cool every second of the day.

Arnav(completely confused): what?

Deepika: all the girls drool over you and all guys make you as their hero.

Akash laughed. Arnav glared at him and akash stifled his laughter. Still smiling.

Arnav: I have already told you not to bug me with all this gossip stuff deepu. I hate it.

Deepika: alright. Alright. I was just pulling your leg bhai. Don't get tensed. Fine. Now can we go home to eat. I am starved.and can I –

And she stopped and gave arnav a pleading look.

Arnav: you want to invite your friends over too don't you? Sure. why not. But only today. I cant stand all the chatter you girls do at home everyday.

Deepika: thanks bhai. you are the best.

Deepika went over to khushi, payal and lavanya and invited them over. They all agreed.

Arnav picked them all up and sighed looking at khushi.

Arnav (thinking): not her again. Arrgh.

Khushi (thinking):hey devi maiyya. Not him again.

They reached the cottage. When everyone got down, khushi looked at the cottage and her jaw dropped.

Khushi (thinking): cottage? Ha. What a joke. It is a small castle. Obviously that raakshas has to have a castle for that oversized ego of his.

Then they heard some footsteps. It was of a little boy. Khushi was stunned as she saw the small boy running towards arnav and arnav pick him up and toss him into the air and catch him again.

Arjun: mamu you are the best. I missed you like hell.

Arnav: Is that so? how much did my little champ miss me?

Arjun spread his hands as wide as possible and said,

Arjun: I missed you thiiisss much.

Arnav smiled and kissed arjun on his forehead and walked inside.

Khushi was still stunned as to what had happened.

When khushi went inside she saw a photo and screeched.

Everyone turned and looked at her.

Khushi: deepika are you already married?

Deepika smiled and answered.

Deepika: no I am not. but Anjali di is. She is my elder sister and we look almost identical.

And deepika explained in brief her family members.

Khushi was in awe of all that arnav had achieved. She may hate him but she could not deny that all his achievements had earned some of her respect. But she didn't say that out loud. How could she. He was just a laad governor.

Arnav spotted something interesting. He went near akash and said,

Arnav: akash you can stop openly drooling.

Akash snapped out of it and looked at arnav as he had caught him red handed. And blushed.

Arnav: so payal huh? Nice choice.

Akash: It's not that bhai. I am not interested in payal. Not at all. You are wrong.

Arnav: ok so if you aren't interested, mind if I give it a shot?

Akash: she isn't your type bhai. I mean she , I mean I don't think you'll like her.

Arnav: oh we'll see about that.

Arnav moves towards payal and sees that akash is following him closely and silently. Arnav smirks. His small brother had a lot to learn.

Arnav: hi there. Payal is it?

Payal: hi sir.

Arnav: sir? I am your senior not a professor at college. Call me arnav.

And arnav raised his hand to shake payal's. and from the side saw akash twitching with discomfort. He was having fun teasing akash.

Arnav: you seem to like the place. Do you want to have a tour.

Payal: sure arnavji. Why not.

Arnav looked at akash. Akash was literally throwing daggers at arnav through his eyes.

Arnav smirked and then said,

Arnav: you heard the lady akash. Why don't you go and show her around.

And akash literally dropped the glass he was holding. Arnav winked at him and said, You owe me one. And saying so arnav moved to his room.

Akash and payal left for their tour of the raizada mansion. While khushi, deepika and lavanya were playing with arjun.

Lavanya: deepu, I seriously have a huge crush on your brother.

Deepika: as though I don't know it. You loose sight of your surroundings and ogle at him when he is around. But sorry to say he is off limits.

Lavanya: why? Is he committed?

Deepika: are you crazy? Bhai doesn't believe in love and marriage. He thinks of it as a waste of time.

Khushi: WHAT? How can one not have faith in marriage or love even? That akadu laad governor. Who does he think he is?

Deepika: ha ha ha. Khushi did you just call him a laad governor. Now that is hilarious.

Lavanya: oh I don't care what he believes in. I am going to change all that.

Then they all chatted for some time until it was time for dinner.

Arnav called them all inside and gave a call to akash to ask him and payal to join them too. Arnav was feeding arjun before he ate his own food. Khushi couldn't believe that arnav had a different side to him.

Khushi felt that she'd go apologize for last night and atleast be friends as arnav was after all her roommate's brother and someone had to take the first step. When arnav went to his room she followed him.

Arnav was about to change when he heard a knock at the door. He went and opened it and was shocked to see khushi standing there.

Arnav: what do you want?

Khushi flinched at the harshness of his tone.

Khushi(thinking): hey devi maiiya protect me. this guy always seems pissed at me for some reason or the other. Anyway I have to do what I came here to do.

Khushi: I was wondering if-

Arnav cut her off.

Arnav: I don't care what you think. Just buzz off.

Khushi's jaw dropped. Nope she was wrong. This guy was still that laad governor alright.

Khushi: how dare you speak to me like this? Don't you have any shame or any kind of morals?

Arnav: I don't give a damn about your so-called morals. They are all just a waste of time and energy.

Khushi's jaw dropped again. How can a man be so rude?

Khushi turned and started to walk out but as fate would have it, her heel of her shoe got caught on something and she lost balance. And she closed her eyes and waited for her to feel pain. But all she felt were two strong arms coming and grabbing her and stopping her from falling.(rabba ve) they were both looking into each other's eyes having become completely lost in each other's eyes.

Then arnav said,

Arnav: don't you know to do a single thing right?

Khushi: what do you mean?

Arnav: you cant eve walk properly and want 10 people to come and save you.

Khushi: I don't need saving. And especially not from a person like you.

Arnav: alright fine. You asked for it,

And he pushed khushi back making her lose balance again and fall to the ground. Because of the force he applied to push her down, she got hurt more.

Khushi had tears in her eyes. This somehow stung arnav but he just turned and walked out from there with a mask of indifference. Khushi got up and composed herself and went to deepika and the others. She had decided that whatever happens, she will do everything in her power to stay away from her. And so did arnav because he always had a strange feeling around khushi.

Khushi had covered up her tears by now and had reached deepika and asked her if they could all leave.

Deepika: sure. just wait. I'll ask bhai to come and drop us.

She called arnav.

Deepika: bhai can you drop us back.

Arnav: no princess. I am a bit busy. I'll ask akash to drop you.

And he asked akash to drop them. Arnav wasn't actually busy but he didn't want to go in front of khushi and do something that he would regret again. He then went to the gym to do his boxing regime of the day.

Akash went and dropped the girls off at the hostel.

The girls gossiped about their evening events but khushi sensed that payal was hiding something.

Khushi: ahem ahem. Payal you didn't tell us how your personal tour of the mansion with akash was. Where did you both disappear off to?

Payal: shut up khushi

And payal blushed which khushi didn't fail to notice.

Khushi:deepika looks like someone has fallen in love.

Payal looked at khushi and punched her. But she hadn't denied it.

Khushi: so if you are not denying it means that it is true isn't it jiji?

Payal blushed and nodded.

Payal: I don't know if it's actually love but I think I like akash.

Deepika and khushi: ooohhhooo.

And payal blushed again. she just playfully punched khushi and payal to change the topic.

And they gossiped till they finally fell asleep.
