Just a quick post from me... am rushing out ...

ASR admits frankly to Khushi - yes, I have an ego, a huge one ... that's me, take it or leave it ... and Khushi sees Nani overhearing the conversation and continues seamlessly with public display of 'we're a happily married couple' ... so she obviously takes it, accepts that it's a part of him she has to live with ...
Not only a conversation, but also an acceptance ... he's showing her all his flaws, his weaknesses and she still continues to be there for him ... if this is not love, then what is?

Nani rocked ... the similarities between her and Arnav are more and more obvious, except that Nani is definitely the more seasoned player ... she can manipulate Arnav using his feelings for Anjali ... and now she apparently can manipulate him knowing his weak spot for Khushi as well ... because he can't let Khushi lose in front of anyone else but him ...

I'm following JJWS, I like the singers on the show, so I had no problem at all with the plug, it's a given on most popular SP shows ... and the singers were good.

Liked the head bump and the Rabba ve as Khushi massages Arnav's head ... they have both grown so accustomed to the physical proximity that they don't even think about it any more ... Bitwa turns into a pile of mush every single time he gets some pampering from his Biwi ... how he loves it! As someone remarked ... he is the bigger child of the two ... a big baby 😳 Like most men!!! 😆

Hola Sush and Spice ladies ... couldn't find the thread last night ... anyhoo , my take:



I have either mellowed over the weekend or frankly just exhausted with ranting ... either way today IPK didn't invoke an iota of outrage or frustration ... therefore I can only conclude I must've liked the epi (disclaimer: I can't recall outright enjoyment.)

Parts I did like... coincidently were the ones which the world and their mother have lauded on IF ... so I won't wax lyrical but list them... Khushi's spontaneous soothing of ASR's boo boo, the heer-ranjha/ASR set-up by nani and mami-khushi bonding.

Three things strike me ... from today's epi and one from last week:
- I found it intriguing when nani responded to khushi's panicked assertion that she doesn't know the lines ... nani soothes her saying "wing it" ... if the CVs follow through with this tomorrow ... I look forward to a true confession from the heart from khushi ... this together with the holi confession have tinges of midsummer night's dream about it ... and could be just as epic. Hopefully I'm not attributing undeserved and premature praise on the CVs.
- a lot is being said on khushi's not demonstrating her love for ASR whereas ASR goes into his " look how how long I can stare without blinking" mode with RV bg. My personal take is I don't think khushi does love him .. well not the man-woman kind atleast. I do think she loves him like family ... somewhere , somehow she's accepted him as her husband ... but only from a family tie POV, hence the caring for him, worrying for him ... just like she would if it was payal, babuji, buaji etc ... she hadn't really explored her dhak dhak ... Just when she was awakening as a woman (ok yes even I threw up a lil in my mouth as I wrote that!) ... at Diwali ... ASR crushed it...and since then it's been one incident after another ... again just as she was about to reopens herself post-Teri Meri ... BAM! forced marriage ... so tbh ... when was there a chance for the poor girl to fall in love ... you can't display something which isn't there. So far the journey has only been ASRs I think we have yet to see Khushi's.
- picking up on one from last week, where Shyam quipped about the property fraud to Anji ... I think this may truly be a future set-up ... once thwarted by khushi he may very well turn his eye on his most coveted prize "money" ... and revenge. I don't unfortunately envisage an exit for Shyam Manohar Jha anytime in the near future ... so this is the perfect angle. Ofcourse this may very well have been another by the by ... gone the same way as "a decent exit for NK"

All in all after a good while I am once again looking forward to tomorrow's epi.

Today's episode was really good and filled with symbolisms. If anything and if spoilers are true, we're heading to a big confrontation. Of course the CVs dilebretly planned this so it would fall during my exams. How co-incedental!! 😈 lol!

Like I expected, his anger on Friday was just another ASR tantrum; Khushi loves to throw a fit, he loves to restrain her physically. That's just who they are😳 Yes, she will fake it this time to rescue him from nani's prying eyes; a man who secs ago wanted to give her no credit for even the silliest of things. Ego is what made him ASR; ego is what makes him stop short of saying sorry, thank you, love you... In short, he is Mr Khadoos himself😆

More than the ego I see him living his missed childhood, by arguing with his ladylove who is a child herself. Normally, one partner is mature; a public ASR is mature but in the privacy of their room, he loves to pick a fight. Be it for the bathroom, not sharing his toys...Oops, I mean his bedroom, his bed, the couch, his closet or give her credit were due...We were complaining Khushi was the child...I Guess we didn't watch the show closely...They both are kids...🤪

In fact, today I felt she was taking care of him like a mature adult. She was the one who faked it to protect him & then the fussing over the little bump...😍 He loved the attention and she let him indulge until she was affected by the closeness...He calls her crazy but that is exactly what he secretly admires in her; her ability to be herself, enjoy every moment, dancing like nobody's watching...She has the ability to bond with anyone young & old, man or woman in no time...He envies that quality, something that probably is the only thing that sets them apart...

We always complained Khushi never displayed her emotions openly but hiding the real reason; the 6 month deal, the verbal war of words he throws at her, the sleeping by the pool are her way of conveying her commitment to this relationship. She could have walked out of there w/o hiding behind the 100 stupid ideas; she could have ousted him instead, but she didn't. If that isn't love, what is? In the last few days, she has displayed confirmation of her love by her actions too👏

Despite all the craziness that has been the last couple of weeks, there has been a lot of progress in ASR's portrayal too...👏Although it has been gradual; 1 step forward 2 steps back...😆 It is there...It's more evident than Khushi's coz he moved from the dark side.

It was a feel good episode I wouldn't go gaga over because I realize this may well be another disjointed tale; we could well be where we started once this competition ends😆😆😆 The downswing of the pendulum ; ASR remembering the terrace when it's convenient for the CV's! The CV's have cleverly used Holi & now this to show us a confession but not quite...For the romantics, a stupid love story like ASR put it😆😆😆 Holi they were intoxicated, here they are in a role. So no worries; easy for ASR & Khushi to deny that it meant anything😆

He is fighting his feelings tooth & nail...😳 It is indeed a tough battle and even the slightest provocation will result in a wasted effort by the cupid, Devyani Raizada...Sounds like royalty, doesn't she? Nani -ASR interaction was very nicely done👏👏👏 Yes, once again they proved that some of the characters are underutilized and relationships unexplored.

Wouldn't it be nice to see them explore it further? Can we see more of this?

I loved your post!!! You cracked it, that's Khushi's way of showing her commitment to the relationship!!
Like I said earlier, I read somewhere that she gets turned on by actions, the earring drop and him portraying Ranjha will again explore her feelings, its the mixed signals and dhak dhak again!!
Apparently the new twist is that they both have a fight because of his ego and she says her biggest mistake was loving him... I see a heated one sided confession, oh how I wish this is true 😳

And Nani and Arnav, I would love to see more of that. I think we will, she will be on Team ASR-KKGSR in the Arnav vs. Shyam battle along with Mami =)

Another one of those days; when I wanted to be here but just crashed. I am an early bird; these late nights aren't my thing……😆

@Sush – YAY, on the name change!

@Mandy – Yes, loved the whole mami, nani & Khushi jig. I am glad they didn't go OTT on this but kept them on the sidelines instead. Khushi is slowly bonding w/mami…..The 3 are so much alike, doesn't surprise me at all. Khushi always has been nani's laadli.

@meens - thank you. I always thought nani was underutilized reducing her to screaming "Manorama" on most occasions. Mamaji also has been utilized lately & he has surprised us all with his likability factor. Lakshmi got more air time.

@Shiela – Keep logic aside & watch it bindaas. You will enjoy it just as much as we do…..If you look at all the inconsistencies; none of the shows are worth watching. Maybe a singing or a dance show but these days even those are scripted……

@Diya - thank you. Miss your long posts. I think I missed your weekend post too. The April fool's thread were out of control, so I stayed away😆 Take it easy…..😊 Yes, Khushi will soon know arguing over ego is not worth your time or energy. Loved his concern when nani sent her on stage w/o a rehearsal. Nani proved she is the smart Raizada; she didn't buy the fake romance. She knows her grandson's weakness & exploited it w/o him knowing.

@Sugar-babe- thank you. yes, Khushi like always will probably blurt it out. We have the redemption track hopefully, this has gone on for too long…..
