After watching the movie I was left speechless. I haven't seen such a strong movie in ages in the Indian cinema. The whole story was strong and what made it more encaptivating was that it is based on a true story.

Analysis of the actors:

Vidya - I've always felt that Vidya was one of the underrated actress of Indian Cinema before this movie. With this movie she moved up on the ladder. I was actually quite shocked seeing her take on such a bold role. But she played it so well with so much ease. One must give her so much credit for having the courage to take on such a bold role. You wouldn't really expect it out of Vidya.

Nasruddin Shah ji - He was okay. I mean the whole story was Vidya Vidya Vidya for me.

Ermaan - Never have been a fan of his. But he was decent in the film. Didn't have a big role. Not much to say really.

Songs - I mean they were okay, but I'm hooked to O La La and the song sung by Kamal Khan.

Story - As mentioned in the beginning this story was based on true life events. It's really sad what Silk Smita had to go through. Movies that are based on true stories turn out to be fairly decent (No One Killed Jessica another example). I thought it was well executed and again Vidya stole the show.

Ending - I wish it could have had more than just her dying. It was a rather sad ending. I thought it just ended like that. Could have been better.

Name Selection - Well we all know why its called The Dirty Picture. 😆 I don't need to explain that.
