At office, Arjun is angry on an employee Pooja who was not able to find a file. When Pooja comes out to search file Punni offers help. She finds file but lies she didn't. When Pooja goes to check in account department, Punni smartly walks in with file. Arjun is relieved to find the file. Punni says she wants to do something challenging and Arjun gives her charge of supply department. Purvi gets happy that things are working well for her.
At conference hall, Arjun walks in welcomes his clients. Purvi enters and the client praise her as they were quite impressed with Purvi since they have been talking to her about the project and were expecting her here. Vinay comes there and Arjun introduces them to clients. Purvi is giving presentation but is getting uncomfortable with Vinay's presence as she gets flashback of her broken engagement. At the end of presentation the clients are not satisfied with work. All leave while Arjun sits there upset while Purvi stands there.
Arjun and Purvi walk in lift which gets stuck. A nervous Purvi apologizes to Arjun for not living upto his expectation and because of her he lost his deal. Arjun gets angry turns towards Purvi tells her it's not about deal it's she who he is concerned about and see what she has done to herself. He says she is a not only a good employee but also a good daughter, friend. He adds she is very special and makes everyone around her feel special he likes being around her anyone would and today of Vinay she is doing this to herself. An upset Purvi says she was not sad that Vinay is not in his life she is upset that her marriage was her mother's dream that got broken and for a middle class family parents their daughter's marriage matter alot. She adds though Archana broke the engagement for Purvi's good she knows how hurt Archana is. Tears start rolling down Purvi's cheek. Arjun asks her not to cry and wipes her tears. He puts his hand down. As the two are lost in each other lights come on and door opens. Punni who is standing outside waiting for lift sees Arjun-Purvi. Arjun leaves and when Punni asks Purvi if she is fine she says she is and leaves. Punni says she needs to start working on her target soon otherwise her place would be taken by someone else.
Arjun for whom his work cracking deals has always been important was not bothered about losing out deal or his loss he was concerned about the Purvi the girl who has become part of his life who is very special to him. He was worried as he couldn't see the Purvi who has always been strong faced the challenges that were thrown at her by him in such state. Today Purvi poured her heart out to Arjun told him she was not upset that her relation with Vinay got broken as he didn't matter to her but she was concerned about Archana as she knows her marriage was her mother's dream and how hurt she would be that's what pricks her. Arjun could feel Purvi's pain. He couldn't bear tears in her eyes and wiped them off.
Arjun who was not admitting he has changed when Manav told him today not only accepts but admits to himself that he has changed and Purvi is the one who brought those changes in him. When Purvi gets hurt Arjun feels her pain. His heart aches to see her in such state that bring tears in her eyes. His mind and heart is at peace only when it's assured Purvi is safe. However he is still unaware of what he feels for her.
Punni saw Purvi as a threat and wants to work on her plan faster. DK is coming back to India due to some work but Ovi can't accompany him due to her prior commitment. As Manav birthday is coming up she has some plans to surprise her father that has been kept under wraps for audience. DK knows Arjun very well so it will not be surprising if he meets his son and notices the change in him. However if he tries to find/understand the reason for his change or person who brought the change in him, will Ovi's surprise bring a twist in Arjun-Purvi's life only time will answer that question.
