Just yday I was making fun of the bombs only to be have a rude awakening today to fact that it really KILLS. Just to wait helplessly to hear from your loved ones really killed me today… the jammed phone lines only made it worse. I am so disgusted with myself for what I wrote yday making fun of life and death! I really hope Mumbaites on IF and their families are safe and May the soul of people who lost their lives in Mumbai & Srinagar rest in peace. God knows whats happening to that city, the last one week has been horrible for them… God Bless and Hats off to the spirit of Mumbai which helps itself to fight back.
Now back to serial. It was would be marked among the best for at one moment of heart wrenching Soul igniting Hug. At the end of the day it was True and Unconditional Love that triumphed.
It began with yday's scene and rightly so… it went with the flow. They included a Jiya dhadak… it had some beautiful lyrics... never mind the voice. Actually I think the tune was passable coz it was supposed to a sad version and reflect the love, gratitude and realization of a man who is facing death. So chalega, as long as they promise there wont be circumstances to use it again.
The flash back was well shot. Again an amazing effort by the camera and the lighting crew👏. They did an absolute justice to the outdoor shoot… bringing about the actual horror of the night. It was indeed a rainy day, secluded and really it gave a feeling of a something drastic is waiting to happen. It really brought out the spooky element of the night. Right from the windscreen wiper swinging back and forth to the long shot showing Jai's car enter the Park Road and finally actual accident with car spinning around dangerously… have to give to the team of technicians who made that possible👏.
The tiff between Jai and Roshini was very typical of Jai-Roshini. I wonder how on earth they fell in Love??? They still fight the same way. They quarreled like any normal hotheaded couple would… accusing eachother, never bothering about what they were about to lose… egos refusing to budge. This couple was never meant to be! Just loved the way the scene was shoot… despite those heavy rains and the wipers interfering so much… u could make out each and every frown on Jai's face. Even as he drove in a frustrated mood, I must say the guy was in complete control of the vehicle…. Ask me I have experience of driving blind just coz I was angry… I really was blind. This guy had complete control of the vehicle and it was an ACCIDENT! It was bound to happen, it was destiny… there was nothing Jai could have done to avert that accident… he didn't even see what he had banged into… the brakes weren't working(Were they? Any new twist?) and the car skid badly and spun dangerously. Jai didn't cause the accident, it happened.
Jai didn't know Kiran well, did he? She wasn't his FRIEND! She was just an acquaintance who Jai knew for past and knew she eloped and married someone else! Then Nishikant came… they could afford only a duplicate for it! For an occasion like this, they should have got the actual actor… he is one hell of an actor… it would have escalated the scene to great heights. Jai alone was holding fort in that particular scene. Amazingly, Jai had presence of mind for somebody as volatile as Jai was very composed for such an occasion. Thank God for that. He rushed her to the hospital immediately. But lost the battle there.
If I hold anything against Jai, it is the fact that he gave Nishikant a cheque😡. I didn't expect Jai to do that at that point of time. He really got cursed for that. didn't he? Jai looked so devastated. My Poor baby😭. He paid for all this all the while, till Nishikant's daughter herself came as a blessing into his life and made up for it😳. I really didn't understand why Nishikant wanted to hide it from his kids… he was anyway telling them about her death… why not an accident😕?
Then came the moment… Jai had finished. A horrifying silence prevailed only till the thoughts were disturbed clock ticking away… Jai glanced at it… he had 60 seconds to go… he really didn't want to hear if she hates him, she is angry with him, if she forgives him, he didn't want to hear her verdict… he had very little time to say BYE. 'Main ja rahoon, Bani' was all he could muster… and in a split second Bani's love overwhelmed & over powered every other emotion she could have felt and went straight into Jai's arms… who surprisingly engulfed her in a tight embrace. EVEN DEATH COULDN'T HAVE DONE THEM APART!
The moment will freeze for eternity… it almost did! If I have to describe it in one word… all I could say BEAUTIFUL! Finally it was Love that had its way… through every small-big obstacle, park road and most importantly over Mr. Jai Walia… who refused to acknowledge it all the while. Jai knew bani well enough to gauge her reactions, but what he never took into consideration was to what he means to her. It happened every quickly, I wonder if Bani really knew what was being implied here. The moment was such that… the emotion which reigned and which was the strongest would have been the 1st priority. And Jai and Jai ALONE was all what Bani could think of.(and really it would have been something I would have thought of all the while and not waste time on the Raaz.. Anyway ) It symbolized one thing though, Jai has become the very center of her existence…she really cant live without him. I wonder if that meant she forgave him😕. I would choose to say YES😃! And Jai hugging her meant that he finally knew what he meant to her…which is probably the only reason he let her come to him… might aswell take her along than leave her with a life filled with loneliness, pain and sadness. It really was too heart warming to put into words… I would rather not attempt it. Everytime I hear 'tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam' I wonder how beautiful is the line' Teri Baahon mein mar jaye hum' It has always sounded as if it was the ultimate way to die… in the arms of the one u love. But looking at Jai-Bani today hugging eachother to death… has put a lot more sense and soul into that song for me.
I wonder what happened to that scene which they showd during the ad break where Jai says 'Ek pati ke dil se nikli huhi bad dua ke waje se main kabhi ek pati ka such hasil nahi karpaya'? I think t'row the entire sequence will repeat… chalega as long as we get to see that hug once again.
Sandy ke bache… it was YOU😡? Why do u do this, Moron? What were u thinking u scream on top of your voice and Jai wont have heard it? I am hoping he heard it! Wait till he hunts u and Roshini down. U both just wait and Watch.
I am totally fida over the Deepak Malvankar and his antiques with the camera… the spinning camera on the roof did add magic to the scene. Even Sandy's conversation was shot well.
Too many loose ends… but u promise me this Raaz is over and done with, I wont dwell on it… I don't want to. I really wish this is buried for good now. Though I have my own doubts. Roshini was supposed to have suffered a spine injury… she looked more than fine! and 3 minutes have never gone by so slowly!!! I am just too fed up to point out the rest…I will begin if this raaz threatens to come back again.
Now I understand why the entire bomb sequence was introduced… to make Bani forgive Jai… if it was under normal circumstance it would have taken ages for them to reconcile. But i still think the bamb angle was horribly managed! Now that it looks clear enough that Jai-Bani aren't going different ways it means Bani-pia-rano will be. Roshini wont rest in peace… she will tell Pia and Rano this and they will turn against Jai-Bani. Then Bani will get into her investigation mode again. I really doubt Jai's car would have hit Kiran… there was a car speeding from the other end aswell… It could be that car intentionally killing Kiran! So was Roshini behind all the attacks on Bani? Or do we still have a white gloves kissa to solve. We do… this white glove is still not out.😡😕
I really thing Jai has punished himself enough for the accident…. And now he deserves to be forgiven now. I was thinking how did he escape the law… he didn't. The court case did go on and if it was awarded in his favour… then it was a right decision.
Coming to the performances… it was RAM all the way👏. He was there in every single frame today. Ok now that Ram has finished the main track… he needs rest. Ekta just grant him 2 weeks of rest😡. Send Jai on a business trip. Even in my confused state and all the horror that was unwinding in front of me I was saying Jai looks so handsome😳. It was the perfect time to shoot this scene… with Ram having lost so much of weight, he looked perfect as the young Jai. Jai looked amazing in that baby pink shirt. Not everyone can carry off a pink shirt with so much of ease… Jai ki bath hi kuch aur hai. Hats off to Ram to have shot for this long despite being down with malaria. Thank God they didn't get him drenched in the rain!!! And more than shooting, I think he did complete justice performance wise for this dramatic moment. Kudos to u Ram.👏
Rakshanda was at her best today…for the 1st time I saw her put in a great performance. Just watch her stand frightened holding Jai's hands and peeping at the body… amazing expressions. 👏
Prachi didn't have much of screen time…but she walked away with the last scene… she delivered the expression that Bani's emotions demanded in that split second…. Beautifully.👏
All in all a Great Episode if u would wish to overlook the glaring bloopers. Even if u would bother to list them out…u would have to eat ur words at the end coz the last scene was something else. The best part was that they didn't show Jai-Bani's facial expressions… but watching them together in eachother's arms said it all… how many couples can do that? Jai-Bani u guys are made for eachother and I am glad u realized it!
I am glad finally Jai will be at peace with himself for having shared that secret from Bani. He took a long time to admit to it, but when he did… he did like the Man he was… looking into Bani's eyes and confessing with absolute honesty and sincerity and with remorse and guilt. He said the fact as it was... hiding nothing and not including his personal judgement of the situation.I loved him for the fact that only after he came clean with Bani, he accepted his love for her and accepted her Love. Proud of u Jai and Luv u! 🤗
