Navya and Anant meet in university, where they're in the same batch. Both have common friends, and begin to hang out with each other. After quite a few moments and some time spent together, they realise that they're in love but they can't be together cause of their respective families' orthodox nature. Same time Anant's wedding is fixed with his bhabhi's sister, but then gets cancelled. After this Anant and Navya get into an official relationship. Navya's elder sister Renu and Anant's elder brother Mohan know of this and approve of the relationship. All goes well till Navya's mom Meeta finds out about them, and in a fit of rage, sends her to Kanpur. After a while, the Bajpaayees and the Mishras land up in Kanpur cause Navya's cousin is getting married to Anant's cousin. During the wedding, the truth of Navya and Anant's relationship comes out to both the families, and all are upset and mad.

On returning to Mumbai, Anant proposes Navya for marriage, so that their families' can't question them. Navya's dadi agrees for the relationship, and soon Navya's parents agree to it too. Deepak then tries to talk about the relationship to Om, who insults him and rudely dismisses him. After a series of encounters, the Bajpaayees agree for the wedding. They get engaged during university. They graduate, and Navya wants to work. Not wanting to disappoint her, Anant says his family gave her permission, even though they were strictly against the idea. One fine day the Bajpaayees find out the truth that their DIL to be is working, and after a lot of drama, they agree to let her work. Anant soon gets jealous of Navya's boss, but by the time they're about to get married, they sort out their differences. After a lot of hurdles, they get married.

Navya and her family are always demeaned in her sasuraal, and Anant can't tolerate it. He makes a plan to unite both the families, and he pretends to fight with Navya and leaves the house to live with the Mishras. Both the families unite to get these two back together, but in a strange turn of events, they find out about Navya-Anant's lie. In a heated argument, Anant gets so mad that he leaves the house along with Navya, to prove to his family that he can carve a niche for himself and stand up on his feet without their support.

With the help of their friends and Navya's savings from her working days, Anant and Navya manage to find a broken down apartment to live. Anant tries to get a job in a publishing house but fails, and thus gets a job in a call center. All is well, till Sugandha comes over to meet Navya in an attempt to bring them back for Holi at least, to save the family's reputation in front of Nimisha's in laws. Navya convinces Anant to return for the occasion, and they do so. In the party, Navya helps Nimisha sneak out to meet her fiance Nikhil in private, and they get caught in a compromising position. Baba insults Anant and Navya really badly, cause of which Anant has a huge fight with Navya.

Navya then goes missing for a day, and Anant thinks she's run away. He calls up everyone, including Nimi to tell his problem and ask for help. Nimi tells Anant that Navya did all that for Sugandha, and its not her fault. Sugandha, on the other hand, only listens to what Nimi relays, which means she thinks that Anant and Navya are having issues and Navya is the culprit. She goes to Baba to ask him to save Anant, and they all agree to try and split Anant and Navya. Only person who seems a bit apprehensive about this is Om.

Anant finds Navya, and it's a joyous reunion. At around the same time, Nimi's in-laws come and break the relationship between her and Nikhil by raising questions on her character. All are upset, and practically everyone blame Navya for this.

Anant and Navya are having a small argument while they're OTP, and Anant meets with an accident. Navya finds out that he's MIA and goes everywhere finding him, finally landing at her sasuraal. They find out that there have been some accident cases in the City Hospital, and all rush there.

Mohan identifies some dead body as Anant's and declares that he's dead. All are devastated, but Navya refuses to believe it. By pure luck, she spots him being wheeled on a stretcher and the entire family is informed and all come to see him. He's taken into the ICU, and at the same time Sugandha yells and blames Navya for the entire thing. Anant is now out of danger, and he's only talking Navya's name in his unconscious state, so the doctor asks everyone to stay out except Navya.

Baba tells Navya that she needs to leave Anant to prove her love for him and to see him happy. After a lot of thinking over, Navya tells Baba, BD and Sugandha that she won't leave Anant cause he needs her love, trust and support, and Anant is NOT in this state cause of her. He then asks if her love can pay the bills, to which Mohan comes and says that Navya cleared the bills. She recalls how the landlord lent her money cause he's indebted to her for bringing his son on the right track. Anant gains consciousness, and only wants to see Navya. The doctor also gives Navya all instructions for him and only lets her be there with him. All are mad, but Navya stands up for her right and love.

Once the Bajpaayees (sans Nimi, Mohan and Sanjay) realise that Navya won't leave Anant, they decide to stage a drama. On the day that Anant is supposed to be discharged, Baba comes and apologises for his actions, and begs them to return. Anant refuses, saying that he wants to stand up on his own feet. Baba then fakes an attack, and the doctors diagnose it as his BP shooting up really high. Meeta advises Navya to convince Anant to return, to which Navya replies that she'll only do what Anant say. Baba then comes to meet Anant again, and says that it is his last wish to see Anant and Navya back home. Finally, Anant relents and agrees to return home. Baba promises that Navya and he will be allowed to do whatever they want and no one will stop them for anything.

You see, our show is saddistic so we dont get much of the comedy but this has to got to the hilarious "budhape ki laathi" diaologue makaan malik shot at Navya 🤣 Navya hadnt even started teaching the kid & this makaan malik was talking about how she helped his son! & "buddape ki laathi" ROFL the kid is like 8. How the hell is Navya going to help him help you in your buddaphe! Total uneeded dramatic Kekta effect 😆

Haha after Kanpur, & officeoffice tracks, this show cant get worse can it? Yes my amigos, it can get worse sadly. This stupidest scene award goes to CSB claiming to get a heartattack but its apparently high BP? Are you freaking kidding me. Dont AnYa think, hmm high BP makes a 90 year old man have weird spams. Just stupid & idiotic...

This award goes to Ramadirama! Her sareees are so freaking pukeworthy man! I mean those jhatak chamkeeli saares, please woman you are total hurting my eyes! Couldnt she get better clothes or something jhatak but that doesnt make you puke! Gosh, team navya, pull your socks up ASAP!

This weeks lapata character goes to our never growing Gudiya! LOL I mean we didnt see her at all in the hospital to come visit her Anant chacha, hes chacha right? LOL anyways the poor thing was at home being manhandled by her Harsh mama who mistakens the baby for a ball! Our sympathies with you Gudiya!!

LOL so Rit & I were like, theres so many bawaras but this award goes to none other than us fans for sticking with this show! I mean this show is now brutally assainated & morphed into some saas bahu saga! Its ridiculous! Why are we still watching this show for! We have offically all lost it to even watch this crap.
